I think its streaming man. The psvita is powerful, but not THAT powerful.

If it's just being streamed from another device then it's not impressive at all really.
Awesome, but don't have any of the games on my PlayStation 3. But it's awesome though.
having L4DII could help me get a Vita not a Main Reason but it would help

At least it works effectively.

I'm assuming streamed, he clicked on "Remote Client"

I dunno, the fact that you're controlling it from the portable device using motion input impressed me
It's LIKE you're playing it on the portable device itself.

Still not that impressive. You can do the same on virtually any android device via Kainy. There's really nothing new or groundbreaking here. The only benefit it has is that the vita was designed for gameplay unlike mobile devices. So if you'd want to play with the comfort of a controller you'd have to get a controller peripheral for your phone. Even then I still prefer android/ios streaming services to this as I just stream games off my pc.
How powerful is the Vita, anyway? Could you, say, run Half-Life 1 or 2 on it? How about Portal?

Handles dynamic lighting and shadows, so it's good enough to run Unreal 3 with some PC shaders.
So in this case Source would run fine. I played Uncharted Golden Abyss and Unit 13 and I saw similar shadowing.
I wonder if Valve is at all experimenting with putting games on the PS Vita. I would totally buy it if it had HL2 on it or something.
You can "play" basically all PS3 games on the Vita via Remote Play. This's been around for a while. It looks really cool but it'd probably have input lag. Kinda pointless though when you could just play the actual game :V
can you have CFW and use remote play? Also stupid question can you have 2 players one on the ps3 and one on the Vita
I'm assuming streamed, he clicked on "Remote Client"
That wasn't the remote client, that was the PS dev icon

Yes but your PS3 must also have the same hacked firmware (Which really isn't worth it), and no i don't think that would work.

The Remote Client option is in the Vita SDK, you can sign up for it on Sony's site
oh okay
Not that impressive then
I can do the same with my phone
I expected a port from ps3

When you use remote play, the PS3 displays something like "Remote play enabled" and you can no longer control the device directly through the ps3 unless you hit exit.
