This is some amazing CGI. Spoilers maybe?
It looked good up until he started running and was getting shot. Also it's weird seeing a T-800 move faster than walking speed.
You can sort of see the CGI once he starts running and gets shot, other than that it looks good. Though it shouldn't be giving off sparks and a metal clank when getting shot, he's still living tissue over a metal endoskeleton. :v:

I loved this movie. Felt like the true Terminator 3.
It's not the same without Bill Paxton and Brian Thompson as the punks.
The younger terminator just looks... odd somehow.
The younger terminator just looks... odd somehow.
That's just you realizing it's CGI because you're so used to it, it's pretty good CGI, but they still haven't managed to perfect it to the point where we can't spot fakeness with our eyes.
The two main issues I have with the CG is the animation when the T-800 is standing still. The little head-nod there? It's too exaggerated. In fact, I don't think it should be there at all. It causes the hair to wobble a bit and that really ruins the illusion because you can immediately spot how fake the hair is, not to mention it looks silly. It doesn't look right. That aside they did a great job replicating Arnold, and the eyes work really well. Luckily he's supposed to look as dead and neutral as possible, so this kind of CG just barely sneaks past the uncanny valley because it's not really trying to look natural and human.
The movie was decent. Certainly better than T3 and arguably better than Salvation. Predictable though and the marketing spoiled what might have actually been a decent twist.

just watched it today, felt like there were too many pointless fight scenes
If only arnie doesn't age

I will say, for what little he was in it Matt Smith [sp]made a pretty good villain. He's supposed to be signed on for the next two movies as well, so if they actually put him to use, then that could be enjoyable at least.[/sp]
those dudes look a little too old to be teenage rebel punks
the T1 music cue was a nice touch
why is the t800 running overall that was some impressive cgi.
No tooth gap/blue spiked hair/ tire tread painted on face, no deal
was anyone else caught off guard after he says "you won't be needing any clothes" and they reveal he's like 15 feet away?
those dudes look a little too old to be teenage rebel punks
they are too rebel to grow up

I don't hate Salvation as much as the world does.

YOU FUCKED UP, YOU GUYS FUCKED UP, YOU HAD THE CHANCE TO REDEEM YOURSELVES, BUT YOU FUCKED UP
I don't hate Salvation as much as the world does.
I kinda like it too. Its a guilty pleasure.
I liked Salvation because we got to see an entire movie about the world after judgement day. But it was just so disjointed and ridiculous.
I liked Salvation because we got to see an entire movie about the world after judgement day.
Salvation would have been better if there actually had been any terminators in it, I think I can literally count all of the humanoid terminators in that movie that actually did something on one hand.
also would have been infinitely better if the wasteland looked anything like the previous movies, i.e. not beige. salvation is just such a complete nothing film
