This was filmed in Syria. The town had long been abandoned, just a bunch of Suqour_al-Sham_Brigade fighters, a moderate Islamist group. They were bombed via airstrike by the Syrian Air Force, or SAF MiG. Bomb was estimated to be dropped a 1000 feet, payload 250lb.

Scare it off most likely. Pilot sees the trassers, and most of the time doesn't feel like checking if it's HMG or actually ZPU. In theory, you can shoot down an aircraft with NSV (I think it's that one), but chances are - you won't hit shit, too slow and carriage's recoil reduction is not sufficient enough to sustain an accurate trail to lead the burst.
