I know many of you don't like this guy, But his raging is 10 times better than AngryJoe. That or He's basically my guilty pleasure
The funniest part is that the hand isn't even white, it's asian.
B-b-but I thought it was white, so it must have been the white impression of beauty oppressing that poor Asian hand!
Can I remove the hand? Seems kinda annoying to have this huge hand blocking my way when I'm editing a level, especially if you're left-handed.

I'm pretty sure it's just there in videos to show people that you control it using the touch screen, but I haven't played the demo, so I wouldn't know.
Maybe if Nintendo did the hand like pure white, Mario's glove, or a vector outline like arcade Punch-Out!!, then you wouldn't have people screaming that SMM is racist because they have absolutely nothing better to do with their time.
Love the scream bloody gore shirt.
Edit: I'm not being a dick. Death kicks ass.
I read the Business Insider article this guy is ranting about and nowhere in the article does the word "racist" appear. Once again, a Youtuber outraged at outrage that doesn't actually exist!

Going Crtl-F-Racist is kinda silly.
Read the actual article.
What if I were, say, a 10-year-old black girl? Or a 30-year-old Japanese man? Or literally anything other than an adult white woman (which the hand appears to belong to)?
Given the mainstream appeal of the mustachioed hero and his ongoing battle against Bowser, you'd think Nintendo – a company that's repeatedly shown willingness to be inclusive – would have thought of this.
That's a completely valid observation and in no way implies that Nintendo is being racist. Nintendo lets you make Miis that look like yourself so it's an oversight to not let you change your avatar in this game

But it does.

typical game journalism whitewashing anything to prove a point

it's a fucking cursor
But it does.
Which Nintendo only announced after people wrote about it so articles like this clearly served a purpose. (Although I'm not claiming that Business Insider is in any way "good")
Can I remove the hand? Seems kinda annoying to have this huge hand blocking my way when I'm editing a level, especially if you're left-handed.
It only appears on the TV screen and you edit on the gamepad.
Didn't they show off that you can change the hand?

I'm sure they would include different skin tones to make people like that journalist shut up about it, too.

This is what it looks like when your point loses all integrity and you're left to defend people who can't use an options menu
Sure the complaints about the skin color are dumb and unfounded, but goddamn this beardy fuck is such an annoying tool.

I don't know, I find his raging pretty fun and funny

Annoying tool or not, he has a legitimate point.
The point being that this "journalist" is fishing for clicks and nothing more.

And he isn't?
And he isn't?
So complaining about a manufactured controversy is the same as manufacturing a controversy?
The hand only appears on the tv, you're going to be looking at the gamepad while editing most of the time I'd imagine.
And he isn't?
You heard it here first folks. Informing people about bullshit is a BAD thing.
So complaining about a manufactured controversy is the same as manufacturing a controversy?
Well this video has more than double the views that the BI article does, this guy's Youtube channel has 5 times as many subscribers as the BI article's author has Twitter followers (and he has 4 times as many Twitter followers), the BI article has been updated to contain corrections after new information was made available (unlike this video/channel), and the video has a considerably more clickbait title. So who is manufacturing controversy here?

What is this, the ad subscribem fallacy?

Okay better delete the video and act like the stupidity never existed
Remember kids, it's only ok to call bullshit off when you're unpopular.

Try a hacksaw.

The guy is informing people of bullshit from a BI article, I don't seem him doing this for views or "manufacturing a controversy", it makes no sense to make an accusation such as that.
