First off, a feminist is simply someone who wants equal rights for men and women; just because tumblr throws a bitchfit about women's rights does not mean all feminists are like that. I am a feminist. Most people I know are feminists; dismissing the majority just because of the very vocal minority is just fucking stupid. Yes, a lot of feminists get over zealous, but most of them are doing it over things that are legitimate complaints, such as lower pay for women for the same amount of work, lower membership in certain industries and branches of government (which often leads to laws or regulations being passed which affect them but don't have their perspective in mind) , and lower representation in certain forms of media aside from as eye candy or something that might as well be an inanimate goal.
Secondly all the sweeping generalizations are NOT 'human nature' but are actually societal norms that have sprung from how our culture has developed. We are not born with the knowledge that women are weaker and should be protected, that is implanted upon both sexes by media and societal norms that are taught to us by our parents and peers. In fact, there are many cultures that have oral traditions and stories about women being heroes, it is simply the fact that they did not have the ability to advance as fast as the western world that prevented them from having a more equal society (which has more to do with their food and livestock taming access than it does societal differences). If you have men as the hero in movies, music, stories, and video games constantly saving the girl then people are going to keep producing more media with those tropes in mind as that's what they're taught is the norm and what is considered right. This man spews bullshit and that face he's making makes me want to punch him in his stupid smug eyebrows.

Beyond Good and Evil, Mirror's Edge and No One Lives Forever are some examples.
