In the jungles of Costa Rica alternative communities have removed themselves from Western life attempting to create their paradise on earth. Ben Zand heads to meet some of these groups, and to search for a controversial cult leader called Nature Boy. Nature Boy runs a group called Melanation and has convinced thousands of people online to follow his message. He’s even convinced people to give him money, and to give up everything they own to live with him in the tropics. But, is paradise really as good as it sounds?
I doubt this will develop into something as bad as Jonestown. You'd think by now even the most out-of-touch could see when something like Melanation goes too far. With how many people break away from the cult I don't think that'll ever happen.
"How old are you guys" "I'm actually immortal, I don't die" ok
Nah, weird as it is, nowhere close to Jonestown. They don’t appear to have an amphetamine addled, sunglasses wearing sex fiend as a leader
I read that as searching for Rick Flair.

These days, he's a self-professed cult leader.
http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/newfoundland-labrador/nature-boy-eligio-bishop-kayla-jean-reid-1.4033180
Polygamy is allowed in the Melanation. They believe "it is in man's nature to desire more than one woman and it’s in the nature of the wombman to desire only one man". Bishop himself has another woman with his wife's blessing. The women see themselves as sisters.
http://www.smartsgist.com/2017/10/atlanta-male-stripper-turned-cult.html Though let me state here, I don't think this weird group will ever reach anything like a real Jonestown, but it is kind of sad to see some similar patterns with how they escaped to Costa Rica, poly-amorous relations, and other cultish crap they do.
