no spoilers (unless you're avoiding everything) it just appears to be the hanger scene from the trailer, just a few stormtroopers doing stunts. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hyOUESbTCRk Liveleak Mirror http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=e62_1432049304
God damn that set looks beautiful
Star Wars has always had great sets, even in the PT.
Star Wars has always had great sets, even in the PT.
Yes, Clearly.
Star Wars has always had great sets, even in the PT.
I beg you pardon
Star Wars has always had great sets, even in the PT.
A lot of the models and miniatures they used in the PT were fantastic, but most of the indoor scenes were either miniatures with actors rotoscoped in, or the infamous green screen room with CGI setpieces. The models look better than the CGI, but nothing compares to full-scale set design.
It looks a lot like the scene from the last trailer. The TIE Fighter shooting up the hangar.

That scene in Episode 3 where they "rescue" Palpatine? The only greenscreen was outside the Windows and I think the ceiling, the rest of that set was real. Yes, the PT was bad, with an over abundance of CG and Greenscreen. I am not denying that, but there were some amazing physical pieces as well. Though most of them are in Episode 1. A lot of the background shots on Mustafar are Miniature mixed with real footage shot at a Volcano.
I got sets and pratical FX mixed around
i was both surprised and incredibly overjoyed when i saw that the AT-TEs in Ep2 were puppets
Surprised this hasn't been taken down. Leaked set footage usually gets taken down in like, an hour. I guess Disney just sees it as free advertising.
dude what
Let's just be honest, that was only a thing because Lucas wanted something to laugh at.
My favorite part is the guy getting thrown several meters from the explosion. Stuntmen are the coolest.
