To put it best they're downsizing, not flat out going belly up.
Saying "I didn't research" isn't really a good excuse when your trying to make an informative video.
I gotta feeling that at least some of the guys laid off from Irrational are probably gonna be relocated to the 2K Marin studio, the guys who made BioShock 2, and they proceed to make BioShock Next or BioShock Tomorrow or whatever future BioShock game comes out first. The franchise is far from over, in fact it's only begun since all sorts of possibilities have been opened thanks to the whole infinite universes thing.
I'm confident that we're gonna see a lot of BioShock in the future, though hopefully not so much that we end up with the same milking problem that latched onto Call of Duty and Assassin's Creed.

Everything you just said sounds terrible.
More Bioshocks is a terrible move.
The universe got closure with the way they explained it at the end of Infinite.
I would even say Bioshock 2 was a story that never needed to be told.
Sure the Bioshock universe is great and BS1 is my all time favorite and ill defend it to death, but milking it or even expanding on it at this point is a bad move.
Its a series that doesnt need anything more from it and would just be riding off the name success.

Honestly they should've called Bioshock Infinite Aeroshock or something. Calling it Bioshock Infinite just sounds like they're trying to ride off the success of Bioshock.
Speaking of Shock games, I want a System Shock 3.
