there's more to meat than just the protein and the texture. you need the fat and the blood to really make a good slice of meat. i could see this working for chicken and ground meats better but to get a steak you have to kill a cow

I expected this to be lab grown meat, but either way it's something that needs to be done. Livestock require a lot of land and resources to maintain, and are a major contributor to global climate change. Any thing that can help curb meat consumption is a positive thing.
