I spent money to advance down the american planes quicker.
Other than that, you get absolutely no bonus for paying money. As for the purchasable planes, they're already existent, but in other nations. e.g. spitfire for Americans, BF109 for Japanese. Pay2Win logic doesn't apply to this game. Nor does it to every other Free2Play game.
Man if a dev can sucker people into getting into their game just from a 1 day joke I'd say it's a pretty successful joke.
