It's an identity protection thing, like blurred faces.
not that these aren't legitimate reasons to riot, but man french people seem to riot a lot
Every demonstration has theses people that fight the police at the end, it's nothing
The first two people getting interviewed sounds like a sovereign citizens :v:
"If I don't vote I'm not governed :downs: "
But holy shit frances anti riot police is badly trained, going for direct hits with grenades, and attacking press.
I'm sure Le Pen enjoys the free ads these buffoons give her.

More like Macron. Those people are more anti-capitalists than anti-fascists, for the latter this second round choice should be a no-brainer.
They're anti-system, like the alt-right. They have more similarities with them than you'd think.

We live during historic times. Trump, Brexit, Erdogan in Turkey, the French election, allegations of covert russian influence on politics. There is a growing climate of left vs right, and many people are starting to fear their government.
As an American I admire the French in this regard, because they don't fear for themselves quietly, they take action, strike fear back into their rulers.
Here in America I see many people faced with the threat of their lives falling apart or dying if the new healthcare passes but we all feel powerless to do anything about it. The new system, which has already passed one major governmental body, is blatantly designed to benefit the oligarchy and no one else, at the cost of many thousands of lives. We are the weak many, they are the powerful few, they want more from us at the cost of our lives. It's something people should be angry about.

I think people judge rioters too harshly, they only see the 'senseless' violence, and fail to see the reason behind it. What they're not seeing is the plight of the severely poor, or the disabled, or social minorities, that fuels that rage which I think is rather justified. See like, my best friend is a successful business woman, highly educated, she's made a life for herself despite her shitty upbringing. She's my role model, and very special to me, and she is bipolar. Her medication treats her disorder very well, preventing the mania that threatens to destroy her life, or worse, cause her to accidentally kill herself. She will be uninsurable if this healthcare system passes in the senate, and her medication costs roughly $1000 per month, which she will not be able to afford.
I fear for her well being very much. And I mourn for so many others that will quietly suffer and die, and go without justice, because we are unwilling to do anything to stop this.

Not doing a very good job at quelling tensions as far as I can tell. It isn't hard for people to maintain an anti-police mindset when they attack press and innocents.
