The sense of [del]existential dread[/del] child-like wonder is something only they can capture, I figured it must have been them half-way through the clip. It's great that they got such an opportunity!

It's 100% their style and the voices are even recognizable. One of them sounds like the clock from part 2.
Watching it, I knew it had to be the Don't Hug Me I'm Scared team.
It just felt way too much like an actual DHMIS video.
I fucking WISH I had this show as a kid, this is seriously the best "kids" cartoon I've ever watched.
I absolutely love meta gumball, like that scene when they turned to 2D and you could see all the Maya viewports and wireframe environments collapse around them. mostly because it makes you realize how much work goes into this show

Believe me you'll get the most enjoyment watching this as an adult, since you wouldn't get most of the humour/references as a kid.
This show has a charm that I've always enjoyed out of it.

Episode's plot is basically the family losing all their money, possessions which ultimately results in the production budget decreasing.
Didn't they have an episode where they hacked the gibson and they had the office's sysadmin write the character's description of what she was doing so it was accurate
The Puppet work was amazingly fluid

There's a few episodes that are duds for me, but when it shines, it [i]really[/i] shines.
This will be one of many scenes that a kid who grew up on this show will put into a YouTube compilation of "Top 10 Bizarre Cartoons We Used to Watch" or something. I love that the "Don't Hug Me I'm Scared" style fits so perfectly with Gumball.

I find the way episodes escalate to be one of the show's charms.
The Job is one of my all time favorites.

It's really cool that the DHMIS guys are still doing their thing! I always want more of their bizarre humor and it's neat that it still shines through even if it's in another show. Since people are sharing videos, idk if people know but they actually did a PSA video about baby CPR. :v:
