i would say it would be awesome to see battles in this...but i guess that the lack of them makes it kind of unique. i like what i see, hope it does well.
That actually looks really nice. I wouldn't call it a "Dwarf Fortress / Gnomoria Hybrid" though. It's just a medieval city simulation game. It doesn't look like they're going for a DF ripoff like we've already seen so many of.
where do i deposit my wealth?!

That looks like a combination of Anno and maybe a little bit of DF, very nice and probably something I'd spend hours upon hours of time on.
Looks a lot more like Towns without the dungeons and fighting. Nothing will ever match up to DF unless they include more physics simulations, and a really strange combat system with bone and muscle and all that jazz DF has.
I was hoping this would be an MMO half way through.
Definitely getting that "Pharaoh" vibe, without the grand scale and with much better graphics. I might enjoy something like this.
Needs more homicidal elephants.
I wouldn't really compare it to dwarf fortress, but it does look cool.
i'm intrigued
Yeah. I'd say it's more like Anno combined with sim city and a little bit of Age of Empires.
Looks like a good game to play and relax.
Consider me interested.
according to the developer there will "eventually?" be combat involved but won't be a central part of the game. which sounds great to me! i would love to have something to defend my village from without it turning into an rts battle game.
It does look fairly nice game to relax to, like Smoot said. If there's one feature I'm wishing they'll put it in is the ability to just actually walk around the towns you create. That's something that I've always wanted from games like this but it's never used, apart from Zoo Tycoon 2 I think.
Game looks like its going to be amazing.
I absolutely love games like this. It's like a simplified SimCity with less micromanagement and more concentration on design. This is the sort of stuff I did in Age of Empires II. People mention Anno - do you think I'd like that if I liked this style of game? I'll be watching this for sure, it's almost an instant buy for me.
So it's a medieval sim city?
damn I've been waiting for a game like this forever. I hope it turns out good. oh, gameplay
If this had a battle element it would be my dream game.
Will be bigger success than simcity
I'm not buying it unless it has always online DRM and the developers are pathological liars.

This game looks amazing. I wouldn't compare it to DF simply because of the fact that DF is definately one of the most complex games out there; this is more comparable to Anno 2070 and AoE
Looks nice i wonder tough will it be as indepth as Dwarf Fortress? And what about combat?
Just reading up on this game, appartenly the most important thing to keep track of in this will be the people, as the people grow up, have kids, get jobs, ect ect, but you have to take care of them with more involvement than just throwing money at things they need.
Wow...this looks awesome! I'll keep an eye on this.
