Sovereign citizenship has literally never worked. Why do they think it will?
Sovereign citizenship has literally never worked. Why do they think it will?
These are people who believe in this type of shit to begin with. They're just that stupid.
Did that first woman really shriek 'you have no right' while they were arresting her? Good God, sovereign citizens are fucking idiots.
Did John Goodman become a judge :v:
They got what they deserved at least.
For some reason videos like this make my day.
I have to go in for jury duty tomorrow. I hope if I get selected I don't have to witness anything like this...
Sovereign citizenship has literally never worked. Why do they think it will?
Every time someone blows it and fails in court, everyone else in the SovCit community No True Scotsmans them and says they clearly did something wrong: According to them the theory is perfectly sound but you have to say your magic words exactly correct or else the system'll find a loophole (read: won't take your bullshit) to deny your "valid" arguments and punish you. They're conspiracy theorists. They aren't playing by logical rules. Pretending it won't happen to them because they'll "do it properly" when they go to court is also a nice pacifying thought.
I don't know where these people come from.
Somehow I get the feeling this isn't the judge's first rodeo.

I liked the atomic explosion noise the podium made when it fell over
I liked the atomic explosion noise the podium made when it fell over
I was in another tab when it happened. Jumped out of my chair.
"My panic button doesn't work up here, by the way" :v:
I have to go in for jury duty tomorrow. I hope if I get selected I don't have to witness anything like this...
Really? I'd give anything to get this sort of show on jury duty. Not every day you get this kind of entertainment firsthand.

A surprising number of embarrassing cellphone/dashcam vids are uploaded by the sovcit in question, it's incredible

I like how that first lady kept screaming OWWW, sounds like a tactic to make onlookers think they're being police brutality'd Edit: Here's another vid I found, this guy is a nut Excuse me sir, I was travelling not driving.
I feel sorry for any police officer or judge that has to deal with these kinds of people. They have a corrosive, dangerous, and deliberate misunderstanding of the law that it's baffling that one can be so stupid and think themselves so right.
I swear to god, each one of these wackos comes up with their own little magic words.
Obligatory
"You're under arrest" "NO I AM NOT" "... Shit, nothing we can do now"
