A weirdly got some Samurai Jack vibes from this.
Intro reminds me of Ghibli films like Nausica/Laputa as well as Evangelion

Friend confirmed it's appropriately tough and generally just fun as hell. Vibes of old school Zelda mixed with some modern character action ideas.

yep missed a post, its a reasonable change but i do somewhat agree on a comment that said:

Happy to see the lead changed his stance on widescreen. For a while the game was supposed to be a 4:3 ratio only iirc.

During intense combat this game almost feels like a rhythm game, once you learn the enemy's attack patterns and start nailing your own attacks everything is so smooth and cool.

Plus on some really tense fights when you kill all the enemies the character does this stylish sword emote that even sends some vibration into the controller, SUPER satisfaying

The rhythm in the combat is so good. Also beaten the first boss [sp](Bird Pope)[/sp] who was a really good challenging fight.

Did you find [sp]Bird Pope[/sp] in the northern lands? 'cause I first travelled to the western forest, beat the [sp]Hanged Man[/sp], and now I'm shooting frogs in the eastern ruins.
Speaking of which HOLY FUCK the story gets fucking grim in the eastern ruins. If you've gotten that far, you know what I'm talking about. You've seen what they did to [sp]the white otter people[/sp] JESUS CHRIST.
Yup, this is certainly a world I'm getting dragged into. And hot-damn is it a challenge. Although I would like it if I could make the cursor indicator thingy stand out a bit more. Anything in the files that could help?
