yeah hearing yourself all your life gets pretty annoying
plus you hear your voice echoing inside your own head, so it's partly that it's just...different

Not to mention the fact that what you really sound like differs greatly from what you hear. Actually hearing it is rather jarring.

This is so true. I always felt that I had a whiney voice but people say It's kinda deep. I kinda hear it if It's recorded.
I can't stand my own voice, a lot of people can't, it's very interesting.
