Reminds me a lot of Left4Dead2, but without all the film grain. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ybxdzDMkdvU&feature=channel_video_title I'm not sure if I like the new desaturation color, but it looks quite nice.
So far my interest is at 0, because it only looks like they re-did CSS graphics wise.
well it does feel like L4D, dont know if that's a good thing or not. The weapons feel weird to me, as in, they could be a bit slanted to make it look like hip fire. All in all, gotta wait for the game

ugly ass weapon, at least keep the CS weapon feel
This looks like rubbish to be honest. They haven't even balanced the AWP. All it looks like is a reskin that didn't even bother to update some of it's models.
Good to see the physics are still insane
it appears to have this very unusual feel to it as if they attempted to copy the atmosphere of goldsrc into source
damn son stop switching your weapons so much settle down
Something about this just seems...off.
This is so hard to watch at such a low framerate.
Well, honestly, I loved everything. [editline]5th December 2011[/editline]
This looks like rubbish to be honest. They haven't even balanced the AWP. [editline]5th December 2011[/editline] If a 50. caliber bullet hit you, you would be dead.
So what you're saying is CS is realistic? Also AWPs aren't .50 caliber, they use magnum rounds. I don't know about this game, it doesn't intrigue me even a little bit. It probably has to do with me being completely bored of CSS.
looks great
looks alright it still ain't done though
If a 50. caliber bullet hit you, you would be dead.
Yes because instant kill weapons are good for a game. Even COD knows better than to include a gun that instantly kills on a foot shot.
It's looking like this is just a graphical update with a few minor additions and tweaks. Honestly not bad at all, I love the contextual BGM and such. It's about time they made some more money off of CS, everyone already has source or 1.5 but no one wants the changes inherent with a full sequel. [editline]4th December 2011[/editline] I am disappointed at the lack of new sound effects, but hopefully that will change by release.
Something about this just seems...off.
I agree. Iv been playing css for I suppose about 4 or 5 years now. I can honestly say it is one of if not my favorite game of all time. Perhaps it is just the graphics thats making me feel this way. Im looking forward to it regardless.
Seems ridiculously stiff and entirely inaccessible to new players, with the same barriers as CS and CS:S. Instant kill AWP, requiring ridiculous reaction time just to do moderately well, it's just not appealing.
So far my interest is at 0, because it only looks like they re-did CSS graphics wise.
Valve basically said that's all it is and that's basically what they're going for
Weapons look like they're straight out of L4D2; over-sized with ugly animations. They don't even bob up and down when you move around. It's like you're a floating camera with a gun welded to the side of it.
is that in-game music? i like it
Really like how the music pumps up right before the bomb explodes, real clever.
It's first now I realise it. It looks like a low-budget CoD ripoff with such a low budget that they stole CSS sound files.
Why does it look anything like a CoD ripoff?
I like the lighting. But the gameplay needs work, for sure.
It looks like a game they'd make to do a parody of modern shooters.
i like how it looks a lot smoother. they should give this game to the people who have already bought css or at least give it the same price as it. idk but not bad looking
The main problem here is that people are expecting a new counter strike game. Essentially, valve has stated that this is just a buffed up css for the diehard fans, hoping to update the 7 year old game with some new, now typical fps attributes. [editline]8th December 2011[/editline] although is infuriates me to an eternal end that you still RECHARGE YOUR WEAPON EVERYTIME YOU DRAW IT OUT. At least you don't pull the forward assist now though.
"FIRE IN THE HOLE." "FIRE IN THE HOLE." "FIRE IN THE HOLE." Please make it stop. This annoyed the living shit out of me in Counter Strike: Source.
