Amazing Performances by Illusionists (Magic Tricks) -Video Thread
18 replies, posted
So I thought I'd start a magic trick video thread.
Contents can span through all sorts of tricks/illusions. (Street-performers, professional magic shows, amateur card tricks etc.)
To contribute: This guy randomly added me as a friend on youtube so I decided to check his videos.
I watched a few of them and... omg! I've never seen anything like this being performed at such a professional level!

I picked out a few to post here and they blow my mind every time I watch them :O

Wow, that's really bad. If he painted the man first and then moved it around it'd be rad.
Now he just drew the outline on a circle shaped piece of paper, lame.

A small piece of paper with the head drawn on it that's the same color as the piece of paper with the body on it.
Mad skills indeed.
Cheats!
I would love a explanation.
How the fuck? The video isn't edited, so how the fuck is this do-able?
edited videos or real magic tricks? the translated words from a professional:
"It's extremely unlikely this was edited because:
1) There are no jumps whatsoever. Everything stays in place the entire video. The only way to do anything off-screen would be to switch to another camera or angle, which certainly didn't happen. And you can still see the pressure mark on his thumb right after the coin "vanishes".
2) There are no repeating frames or parts of frames which could have covered up anything.
3) The shadows are still in tact and in place, so is the light reflecting from the coin.
4) The video quality doesn't increase at anytime and stays the same through the whole video.
5) You can clearly see what way the coin goes to and that it continues its trip behind his arm so there would be no need for editing as long as it is covered up."
The video footage is property of MarkHilkemeijer and was taken from his "The Flash And A Coin" video.
I think I see how he does that one. Watch in slow-mo as the coin moves a bit towards the back of the hand when he is about to flip his hand and reveal that the coin isn't there. He's hiding it behind part of his hand.
I'd love to learn to do something like that, but I'm sure it's very difficult.

Actually that seems more like the dif. between a good movie edit and a bad one rather than edited or not...
But I can't be sure so I'll just say congrats, because either trick or movie edit, it's a good one.
Does this shit work if cops catch you with drugs?
In the 3rd one (the cell phone one) I think the phone goes under his shirt.
