I heard you wanted a sad video.
Is it normal for the landscape to look that.. strange? I'm guessing that it's probably the result of craters or the like but these destroyed villages always seem to have that weird bumpy landscape.

Yeah, it's from the millions of artillery shells that landed there.
Verdun and its surrounding areas are full of bumps like these.

I went there back in school during a field trip. Those bumps looked pretty surreal to me. Made me think of frozen green oceans.
