Talcum-X is brilliant.
I see no appeal in these channels where they just all identify with one political ideology and dogpile their opposite peers. I used to watch it and I don't know if they are still on but the only two people who solidly had good points to make were Michael Shure and Ben Mankewicz. I find Cenk insufferable even if I agree with more of his politics than I disagree, same with Ana. I stopped watching them during the Zimmerman trial because it was a total shitshow and the occasional clips I see of them on FP, Reddit, or /pol/ show them only declining.
I can't bear the voice of an audibly pimple-faced /pol/ shitposter for more than a few minutes at a time but TYT is a pile of garbage, only good for laughs when things don't go their way

How is denying a genocide that can be backed up with a lot of evidence considered "progressive". These people are far from progressive.

When have the TYT denied the Aremenian genocide? Cenk did in the 90s but has since apologized and I doubt Ana, someone of Armenian descent, denies the genocide of her ancestors. I always see that nasty as fuck slander get thrown around but no one can ever prove that they currently do it.

all i remember about TYT is that they'll title videos in a way that makes you think it's just raw footage of something, but when you click on it, it's like 10 minutes of them commenting on it. i hate channels that do this

Back when he was denying it, he was also a social conservative who hated feminism, was pro life, pro gun and hated Democrats with a burning passion. He's clearly a different man to who he was back then and he has in fact acknowledged it's a genocide in the very quote you mentioned

As a left leaning person myself, I find the opposite true.
While it is nice to get my views confirmed, I really hate getting them confirmed by people who are too much in to them. Like, I'm not particularly happy about getting confirmed by people who doesn't listen and try to understand their opposition, and calls their oppositions peaces of shit.
That's why I adore Bernie Sanders. He fights for his opinions by engaging in discussions instead of slurs.
