He spends a bunch of money on expensive shit (in this case, $3000 on a new PC) and then complains about losing money. This guy is up there with Andrew Dobson and Chris-Chan on immense levels of retardation.
So Im guessing even though the CPU said 100%, it would of ran fine?
So Im guessing even though the CPU said 100%, it would of ran fine?
No, it was stuttering. He just got ripped off cause his specs weren't good enough to play and stream at the same time. But since its DSP he did no research on this and just wasted 3k
I think I'm going to be sick.
No surprise, that he didn't do any research....
what a fool
Are there actual people out there that watch DSP unironically?
@2:00 wot is capture card. You don't use software video capture to capture 1080p 60fps dumbass.
I didn't look closely at his CPU's model number at first and assumed he had an i7-4970K and was just being retarded, because it's honestly only about $350. Nope, instead of 8 cores, he went for one with 6 cores for no discernable reason except for having difficulty with PC build mechanics. How does this man have more money than me?
Yeah he did absolutely no research on his parts, that motherboard doesn't support intel quick sync and he bought a cpu which has it. Meaning he's forcing a cpu to encode shit on its normal cores and not the dedicated encoder core, you know the one designed for encoding so it wouldn't hinder performance. Then again this is DSP so I'm not fucking surprised at all, and he's blown 3k on pretty incompatible parts.
Are there actual people out there that watch DSP unironically?
My 11 year old half-brother mentioned he watches him. I tried to explain why he shouldn't, but I'm sure he probably still watches him.
@2:00 wot is capture card. You don't use software video capture to capture 1080p 60fps dumbass.
um yeah it works fine lol you don't even need a capture card what are you smoking
Wait, so he was recording and streaming, while also playing a game, at 1080, 60FPS, he obviously didn't know how to use the 3k wisely. I'm guessing he was using the Shadowplay thing to Stream or OBS, which should of had the Nvidia Codec enabled, thus not putting pressure on the CPU to encode, what does he honestly have running in the background to cause the CPU to max out?
@2:00 wot is capture card. You don't use software video capture to capture 1080p 60fps dumbass.
I can do it on a much lower end machine. His fucking problem is he's playing RAGE and it looks like he's not using GPU decoding for the settings. the texture transcoding takes a fucking monster of a CPU to do in realtime while a Nvidia GPU can do it easily. He probably just didn't touch it.
um yeah it works fine lol you don't even need a capture card what are you smoking
"works fine" It's not right way to do it. In order to do streaming with nearly 0 performance hit you have to use a capture card. Specially if you plan on streaming 1080p 60FPS without risk of stuttering. There are also other advantages. (Yes, i know it's not the main reason for his lag. I know he didn't use his 3k wisely.)
In order to do streaming with nearly 0 performance hit you have to use a capture card.
Nvidia Shadowplay (doesn't hinder performance as its a dedicated encoder core that does all the shiz), Intel Quick Sync (same again but this time it's on the cpu, not the gpu), Dedicated encoder card (some TV cards come with this, guess you could say its a capture card but it does more than just capture video). Sorry you don't need a capture card half the time, oh and some capture cards do actually give a performance hit, especially external ones which can affect the output display, nevermind the fact some cause visual delay.
This guy has to be playing a character.
As much as I want to believe this, I'm pretty sure no one would buy a $3000 PC as part of his/her character shtick. DSP is legitimately fucking stupid.
Should've went with the r9 270 or greater. Although I bet this motherfucker didn't wear an esd bracelet and shorted some components out and shot his bus speed to shit.

Not to mention it's exclusive to nvidia cards. I'm only talking about professional streaming of course. If you just want to show off some gameplay in your small channel then even FRAPS is good enough.
Like honestly, hes got 70 processes happening in the background, like seriously, what is he running in the background? Chrome with like 20 tabs?
You can if you have a quick sync enabled board and cpu. :v:
I've been out of the loop for a long time about PC hardware because I was too po' to upgrade and I didn't want to look at just how old and decrepit my aging rig was getting, so I barely heard about this feature and didn't know the details, so thanks for mentioning it! I'm putting together a build and slowly trying to get money for it, and I discovered that the mobo I'd picked appears to not support Quick Sync Video. Now I've picked one about $40 more expensive that does. Now the only question is, is this actually going to happen this year? :v: (Maybe.) I spent 1300$ on a pc and could do all that no issue because you know... I researched my parts and could likely perform far better because of it [editline]13th July 2014[/editline]
Like honestly, hes got 70 processes happening in the background, like seriously, what is he running in the background?
This guy has to be playing a character.
It's like none believes this ever, but it's fucking obvious No one is conveniently this stupid
Wow, with that money, he could've fixed his so called back 'ingury'. Am I right Phil? "Nop, lemme waste 3K on a prebuild PC"
It's like none believes this ever, but it's fucking obvious No one is conveniently this stupid
if he's playing a character he is the most dedicated troll ever
Wait wait wait, just the fact that hes using a Capture Device, which will be putting minimal stress on the system, if none at all, and it still runs shit, did he break something? Edit: I can't tell, is he actually using one, I mean his info says he is, but I'm not really sure.
although I'm curious, where did he get all the money from? There is no way that phil was able to buy a house, PC and a BMW with that money he earns with his videos or streams. Unless he rented it and slowly drowns in dept.
he probably is, and you know what? wouldn't surprise me if he had shitloads of malware on his computer or something
I can just imagine his desktop covered with free programs for printers with a ton of Windows updates installing in the background.
