It makes me sad hearing about things like this, knowing that I probably won't live to see it.

I'd imagine both...
13:30 or so - the fps module's projected to go live on the testing server (the PTU) by the end of August. So, realistically, early to mid September. Multicrew's being slated for October (but expect delays as usual).
This is going to be an exciting fall, assuming they don't blow the timelines by months and months yet again. There're gonna be lots of bugs, but a lot of major foundation tech is being inked in as playable with the next few major updates.
