Basically Fast and Furious
Alright as sick as I am of Gta Online updates, this does seem pretty damn cool looking.
Military* Grade Toys
*Middle Eastern Insurgent
armored semi trucks and a technical with a DSHK on it don't seem very military grade to me
Maybe I'd be more willing to play GTA Online if there wasn't such a fucking abundance of hackers. Like holy shit, I don't think I've ever seen a game with an epidemic that bad. Maybe CS:GO? It's close.
We did it, guys! We finally got Grand Theft Auto missions in the game Grand Theft Auto!

The lack of a decent anticheat and badly designed multiplayer letting people do stuff that really shouldnt be possible was the icing on the cake for me.
The main problems I had were insane load times and everything you do seemingly wanting to put you on a loading screen, and lack of matchmaking criteria and being put in games with people from the other side of the world combined with bad netcode that makes laggy people bullet sponges and teleport everywhere.
Like all my friends quit after a few days just due to the fact it took forever to load, crashed constantly, bugs/crashing preventing progress on the group/heist achievements meaning we lost hours of progress multiple times.

the funny thing about the load times is someone used cheat engine to basically speed it up and it worked
apparently the game is programmed to massively limit the amount of memory it uses up, meaning it is just designed to be shit
SSD's don't help either

It's very clear a lot can be done on their side. Like I'm not sure why everything causes a 5 min loading screen; everything is being done on the same map so why do they seemingly force you to reload the whole thing constantly for starters.
The MP architecture is another in a trend of AAA developers designing purely for consoles without any thought as to what someone with cheat engine can do and not even any kind of basic anticheat to prevent injected hacks.
Looks fun as shit, can't wait for the war rig to be 900 million gta bux
Looks fun as shit, can't wait for the war rig to be 900 million gta bux
Update came out today, war rig is like 1-2 million
That ramp car is great fun, sucks that it gets destroyed so quickly. That jet car is the most fun IMO.
[editline]13th December 2016[/editline]
But damn that shit is expensive, wasted 40million$ in game like wow

As well as the fucking atrocious loading times
As well as the fucking atrocious loading times
I thought load times would get better with an SSD.. I was partly right but god damn the Online can suck sometimes.
can't afford shit
1 mil for the garage REQUIRED for the cool vehicles and 2 mil+ for all vehicles. Checked today.
The one game where hacking in money is practically encouraged to enjoy the content of each update
MTA:GTA-V pls
not trying to grind for cash just to dick around with some trucks in gta
1 mil for the garage REQUIRED for the cool vehicles and 2 mil+ for all vehicles. Checked today.
Dont forget the office you need to own + the warehouse
it's a pretty fucked up scheme if you think about it.
completely free updates? cool! have to pay 5 million gta bucks to get the content of that updates? ehh. then the gta bucks get harder and harder to obtain with each update? dude what.
imagine someone just joining GTA 2 years down the line and being left behind all of his friends for 3 weeks while he grinds cash, or else pays upwards to $50 extra real life bucks to catch up.

GTA online is the perfect game to play if you feel like spending 10 hours doing the same shit over and over again so you can finally afford that 6 million dollar car.
Then you're broke again
GTAO is just a load of fun with friends and its full of content. I like to pop in occasionally for private sessions

This is why I stopped playing, I don't want to have to grind those heists over and over again just to afford one sodding car. Never mind actually getting into a heist takes forever on its own.
It is only $30 right now on Steam, yet it has such shit reviews (from here). Is it worth it if I have no friends on Steam that play it?
GTA:O is just a grind fest that is not enjoyable for me.
They bring cool updates but every time it is gated by millions of ingame currency just so they can sell they "sharkcards".
>Military grade toys
>Armored boxville and a fucking ramp truck
What kind of military is using this stuff? It's like Rockstar is literally throwing words around.
E. Beaten to it. I guess I'll either have to grind for weeks or just buy a sharkcard for this shit now.

Be a sane person and "hack" that shit, there's no way you will be able to get enough money just by playing the game the normal way.
R* seems hate everyone who want SP content or at least access to this shit in SP.
-snip-
Generally excessive grinding is in Free to play games.
But rockstar made a full priced game with MMO tier grinding in online ;)
Fucking ridiculous, rockstar fucked up with Online.
I mean the free updates are cool but not when you have to spend $1 million just for a warehouse + excessive amounts for the vehicles.
