It's funny how once you actually watch a movie they make an honest trailer for, you realise how they just nitpick. -snip-

eh. wasn't even hugely thrilled with the movie and this honest trailer sucks, as usual. they nitpick weird details, usually ignore film's valid explanations for things, and they just aren't funny. or productive. they are very 'anti-film' in that it takes things that were legitimately good and tries to shed light on it's 'failings'. directors must see these and either shrug it off in good humour or go 'what?? how can i ever please you people????' For half of the points he mentioned, I was just wondering if he'd actually seen the film.

[editline]5th February 2013[/editline] Not really Rusty I love you... only just watched Casino Royal... I just enjoy little videos like this is all, even if they're wrong.
It's funny how once you actually watch a movie they make an honest trailer for, you realise how they just nitpick. Although I agree with the hard-drive part.
Most of it was pretty true, even though I liked the film.
the home alone bit fucking got me. Great film though.
A lot of the time I enjoy these but this one had some very nitpick-y stuff, not to mention some of it was wrong. The hard-drive? Silva was sending out the data from his island, Bond and MI6 raid his HQ after their first meeting.
why he sounds like Duke
The ending outright sucked imo. Dunno why they are moving away from professional agent to personal story anyway. Loved the villain, loved the first 100mins, but I can agree with most of the points here.
The Sexy Voldemort part got me.
I enjoy bond movies so much because they usually get the right balance of outrageous and serious to be enjoyed almost universally
Except most of the Pierce Brosnan ones... surfing a fucking car bonnet? Come on.
Ever since they got the new voice actor for these I've been enjoying them a lot less. I also think the last few weren't up to par with the earlier ones.

Those are hilarious.
I really don't get why Quantum of Solace gets all the hate. I liked it.

I see wehat you are talking about
I really don't get why Quantum of Solace gets all the hate. I liked it.
Lacked the charm and heart that came with Casino Royale and replaced it with a series of beatings caused by Bond, a forgettable villain / Bond girl, and an incredibly linear story arch. I enjoyed QOS as well, but it is an incredibly flawed and watered down shadow of what Casino Royale and Skyfall were.

this movie was just so bland there isnt anything to say about it
this movie was just so bland there isnt anything to say about it
I fucking loved it. But maybe that's because I've been a Bond fan for about as long as I can walk, and they just played tricks on nostalgia by making countless early Bond references.
