The cinematography is just stunning
That ant should have kept off the sand if he wanted to avoid the antlions
That ant should have kept off the sand if he wanted to avoid the antlions
They should just move tbh. I wouldn't want to live a place where the floor is nearly lava
That ant should have kept off the sand if he wanted to avoid the antlions
shoulda jumped across the crates
Despite antlions being so ferocious, they can get as small as a few grains of sand clumped together: [t]https://vineyardgazette.com/sites/default/files/article-assets/main-photos/2008/jw_ant_lion.jpg[/t] Oh and they're kinda fuzzy (and sandy).
Wow these ants are dumb. Like... just use Pheropods to avoid them?...
Wow these ants are dumb. Like... just use Pheropods to avoid them?...
Or they could have just avoided stepping on the sand.
Reminds me of poor Laszlo, he was one of the finest minds of his generation. He had come to such an end by these antlions, if only he did not step on the sand and used the Pheropods. Half-Life 2 jokes aside, the cinematography from these videos are amazing.
Wow these ants are dumb. Like... just use Pheropods to avoid them?...
It's clear that they're aware of their surroundings (i.e: the ant at the end looked back at the pit it just got out of at the last second). Hard to blame them when antlion pits are everywhere and they try pelting you with sand anyways.

For the most part the world looks blurry to them (I've seen people describe it as low resolution) since they for the most part rely on smell and touch to navigate. So they wouldn't really be able to tell if it's just an all natural(tm) slope or it's a deathtrap
Wow, I was surprised that the ant actually bothered to check the hole after he escaped.
I'd seen antlions before but I didn't know about them throwing sand up like that, thats crazy.
