Looks pretty promising. They have a playable demo as well. I think you need a controller for it, though

does it have a black market internet?
Would prefer something like Virtual On rather than turn based like VC. It works in VC because it's mostly foot soldiers and even then it can be too slow at times. (especially how weapons have an effective range then they're useless)

Except Virtual On is essentially an arcade fighter that plays like an abnormal shooter. This is meant to be a strategy game, obviously, and it's got its fair bit of action even during your turn just like Valkyria Chronicles. Infact this really seems heavily inspired by not only Front Mission but Armored Core too.
After finishing Front Mission 5 recently I'm all aboard. The engrish on the campaign page is actually kind of refreshing since I know we won't get shit like Front Mission Evolved.

That was the point of my post, it shouldn't of been a turn based game. Also the fact that they put a bowling game in their credentials makes it seem like they're grasping at anything to put on their profile.
I'll pass.

I'm sorry, but what? This may shock you but lots of companies make more than 1 type of game! And you know, it helps us as consumers because they've provided an example we can reference that shows they can make video games which makes people more inclined to back the project because they'll feel more confident about their abilities.
I'd also like to point out that listing your accomplishments is generally a GOOD thing, if your work isn't crap of course.

Front mission is fucking badass as a TBS whatchu talkin 'bout. FME was a complete waste of time and later Armored Core games turn into Gundam before the 3rd mission, which is fine and cool but I want a mech milsim kinda thing.
I mean shit even Mechwarrior has more milsim style mechanics going for it than later Amored Core games and they have more lasers than a lazerhawk show.

If you're applying for a highly professional job that requires a lot of experience in the field, do you put on your resume that you worked at McDonalds when you were 18? No, you'd probably put on previous professional workplaces.
The fact that he put a bowling game on his credentials for a mech game just implies that he doesn't have many games under his belt, if he worked on something more reputable then he'd put that on instead.
Do you know what a portfolio is?

And yet the video shown, assuming that is actual game footage, shows he is at least off to a good start.

And for the record I put any job I worked for longer than a year on my resume.

Say two people with the same education applied to a job one has worked at McDonalds and the other one hasn't had a job who would you hire

Dude, wrong. A finished game is a finished game you put that shit on there. Even if the game wasn't good, you still have the experience gained from working on it.
Rocksteady's only game before Arkham Asylum was an average shooter. Digital Extremes started with pinball titles. Both studios represent their past work on their websites.
Oh it uses the same stock music that appears in Wargame I was confused that I had left the game open for a second.
