Let's all take a moment and remember Lit Fuse Films... - General

If you were around for the first few years of GMod 10's release, you no doubt remember the machinima excellence that was [url=http://litfusefilms.com]Lit Fuse Films.[/url] Their most popular stuff like [url=http://litfusefilms.com/movies/ignissolus/]Ignis Solus[/url], [url=http://litfusefilms.com/movies/jillssong/]Jill's Song[/url], and the only full length machinima movie that I know of, [url=http://litfusefilms.com/movies/waroftheservers/]War of the Servers[/url] were awesome, but I've always been a bigger fan of their less popular works. Melon 3 and the two Rusty Whispers videos have always appealed to me. anyway I just felt like making this because it seems that quality machinima is a dying art. so everyone needs to head over to litfusefilms.com and start watching all of their kick ass HL2 machinimas. I don't think any group of people will ever match the greatest of LFF.

I don't even remember what year did the War of the Servers come out but i remember the fuzz about it in facepunch. It was actually pretty funny and good machinima movie. Still remember the movie and Lit Fuse Films!

It's quite saddening that the only machinima's we have left are just shitty gmod shorts that are no longer funny, films like war of the servers show that it took time and effort to make, whereas today, it's just l4d and tf2 characters flying around with fucked up faces. This was most definitely a nostalgia thread, thanks alot :). Also, is Xanatos still making shit?

We can't forget Combine Nation, shit was so cash.

I knew Zachariach and Robert, been doing some minor models for them that never were used, well that was 4-5 years ago.

Robert Stoneman (who is a member here, although very inactive) actually filmed stuff like Transformers, the 7th Harry Potter movie and the 4th Pirates film. Edit: Forgot to add The Dark Knight as well.

War of the Servers was amazing, I remember wanting to get one of the boxed DVD copies of it. Never got one, but at least I was able to play Gmod with Robert Stoneman one time.

Lit fuse is what got me into Gmod.

Those were the good old days. I always liked one of their last films, Jill's Song. Such good acting.

Jill's Song was pretty damn fantastic.

At least we've still got Ross Scott making Civil Protection.

God damn I loved Lit Fuse! Gotta rewatch this stuff, Combine Nation was fucking great. Shame it didn't keep going.

I was pissed when Combine Nation stopped getting updated.

There haven't really been nearly as many good gmod videos as there was back in 09. Maybe a new gmod update will fix that.

He makes an occasional video that's pretty decent every couple of months.

I remember a rumor that Jetboom would ban anyone who talked about War of the Servers on his... servers. That was months before its release. That was a very long time ago.
