Known anarchist and 'political activist' is arrested and detained for 24 hours for conspiring to cause public nuisance at the Royal Wedding and also for aggravated trespassing.
Most polite policeman ever, even with Charlie's girlfriend going on and on about nothing.

Myocardial infarction inducing YouTube comments as usual, read at your own peril.
The police officer was top notch. I'm jealous; I have to deal with brutes where I live.
The police officer (I assume his name is Ashley Bennett, but I'm unfamiliar with the British uniform) was incredibly polite. Probably one of the calmest and well mannered police officer I've seen. He could've handled the situation in a much harsher way if he chose.
Charlie Veitch's girlfriend is horrible at being a manipulative bitch. "It's just devastating to see that this is where we're at." Oh really? I doubt England is that bad. It seems like a great place. I think saying that would be justified if you lived in North Korea or Iran. This New World Order stuff is just bullshit. Sure, the government cant always be trusted, but I trust them with my safety. This arrest was precautionary, the police were just covering all their bases to make sure that nothing happened. I don't have a problem with that.
Call me a sheep or a follower, I don't care. It's easier to live your life following the rules. Protesting and promotion of anarchy will just land you on government watch-lists or no-fly-lists. "It's just devastating to see that this is where we're at." It's your fault that all this happened. You brought it upon yourself Mr. Veitch and your girlfriend. If you had just go with the flow and not protested over every little thing, you would have a normal life. Did Mr. Veitch and his girlfriend really expect that they could protest and endorse anarchy without being watched by the police?
And he called the back of the truck a "cage"? Has he ever seen the back of a police car in the US? Sure, it was shaped like a cage and had metal bars and what have you, but it looked pretty spacious. The back of the police cars here in the States only allow you less than half a foot of leg room and you have to sit with your arms cuffed behind your back on the greasy plastic bench.
Sometimes, it's just easier to obey.
I wish the police in the US were like this.
fuk da pohlees
Kinda sucks though, they obviously don't want to make the arrest, but have to follow orders or they lose their jobs.

They are, they just don't get on TV because all the media covers in police brutality and outrageous situations that the general public like to see. Nobody wants to watch a good officer doing good things. That doesn't entertain the masses, so nobody would watch it, and thus nobody airs it.
Those cops look really young D:
is that typical?
I don't get the "conspiracy to cause a public nuisance" but aggravated trespassing sounds like something worthy of an arrest.
I dunno, generally British people seem to look pretty young up until they're like, mid 50's
Wow, they are idiots, the police are being really nice and they are being total dicks (especially the girl) and totally overreacting.
Man, that policeman was damn impressive. He just cited the law on the fly.
The policeman sounds alot like Wheatly.

because any one with an english accent is wheatley
Charlie and Ashley dealt with situation well.
Ashley just did his job, was calm and composed all along, did what he had to do and caused no nuisance at all.
Charlie knew what was going on, knew that arguing would get nowhere, and dealt with the police the best way you can, do what they say, and sue their asses if was wrongful.
Girlfriend is a bitch though, what the fuck is she crying for? He's the one going to sit in a cell for a while, all you have to do is go party with your friends in the street in front of the police station.
I loved how the officer just acted like she wasn't there at some points when we was speaking.
Jesus his Girlfriend was acting stupid and the ending was unnecessary to me.
Charlie and the officers though did pretty much everything by the book.
They treated each other quite fairly.
I don't get it why people give the police such a hard time when they arrest people, if you just go with the flow and be polite everything will go smoothly, I also don't get people who resist, if you've got something to hide you'll be better off just admitting it, you tend to get treated better if you do.
