Blame consoles, the LOD culling is pretty agressive on the Frostbyte 3 engine when set to low mesh quality.

i think its a shame they dont seem to be releasing this on pc, the recent releases on steam seem to have pretty mixed reviews but maybe thats because they started out as or still are early access titles
