I found the answer to life-
Pentiums can run crysis.
Gotta say, I'm amazed it's working. Try running Metro 33.
However low of a framerate it has, it still shows shaders on a '99 PC?
That makes me wonder why I can't run it on a PC made last year rather than one made 12 years ago

it's got a geforce from like 2004
Crysis is pretty optimized actually. The average console port released today won't even run on a Pentium 4.

Would be interesting to see it running Crysis 2. The PC should be able to run it better than Crysis 1.
He could probably get even more performance out of the game if he used the CCC configuration utility to disable everything. The "Low" settings set in-game still leave some options on.
I love how the game still try's to load a good skybox as if it wasn't getting stressed enough
This is about as hilarious as they guy who ran Doom 3 on an SLI'd kit of Voodoo 2's.

I have the same graphics card.
Can't run anything.
I wonder what most games would look like with the majority of their graphical features are removed to run on older systems?
Ha it looks like the original Far Cry

Graphics are a bit better than OP's, but it's still under minimum system requirements.

New =/= Powerful.
Chances are you've got an integrated Intel GPU.
If he's using Fraps to record, he must have an ok Framerate when not recording.

Any footage? Because shit like that is really interesting. Reminds me of getting EP1 into DX6 mode.

Its in the description. He said he used a capture card to show you exactly how well it ran.
I expected this to run worse than the BF3 beta did on my computer... fuck.

Here's something. It's kinda short, though:

And people use constant upgrading as an argument against PC gaming. That is the performance most of my PC gaming was done at until anno 2008.
