What happens at the end?

Do you mean the magnetic bit? Pretty sure it's just iron produced by thermite burning?
Thermite contains iron and it got the gummy bear so hot that when he cooled it off with water it rapidly contracted and caused the iron from the thermite to bond with the goopy leftovers of the bear, thus causing them to be magnetized.
Edit: I just noticed that the entire bucket is gone, so it's probably more likely those magnetized bits are whatever survived of his bucket that bonded with iron from the thermite.

Huh, not what I expected but still pretty cool.
woah.
his fuse was too short for safety.

My butthole clenched as he lit it
That dude was just asking for his hand to be burned off. That fuse was way too short, he could have lit the thermite instead of the fuse from that distance.

His torch probably didn't burn hot enough to ignite the thermite. Thats likely why he was using a strip of magnesium.

Still though, if your fuse is short enough where you have to light it and run like hell that's too short lol

Also, pretty cool how the majority of the gummy bear was unaffected-ish. That really looks like something I'd like to avoid putting in my body.
Thermite is so cool
ISIS's execution methods become more barbaric every day.

Well, it's a thick and insulative material, so it's going to be pretty resistant to heat on the inner bits.

Don't give them ideas

Thanks for the idea.
Watching that smoldering pile of green goo and molten ashes reminds me of some alien getting blasted.

I'd rather be put into a bucket of lit thermite and die instantly than have my head slowly cut off or be in a cage full of gasoline with a slow fuse
Now eat it
