I haven't seen it here, but Morgan make a great point here.
He is absolutely white....
I mean right.
Problem is that there is still deep seated racism within some people that wont go away even if we just stop talking about race or act "colorblind".
It'd be awesome to have a world like this though, and I tend to agree with Freeman's line of thinking.
This doesn't solve the problem, but it is a good point.
He's got a good point.
At least the amount of racism has decreased a little over the years.
Excellent point.
morgan freeman is awesome as usual, and black history month is fucking retard
How come when I said exactly what he said in school I was called racist?
:colbert:

Because you don't have the smooth, sexy voice that Morgan Freeman does. I wouldn't mind ripping out those perfect vocal chords and screwing them all night long.

Because you're white.
Oh Morgan, you so awesome.
We need a Morgan Freeman month.

Yes x1000
Because you're white.
You racist. :c00lbert:
This man is saying exactly what I've been saying for years - the best way to eliminate racism is to stop treating it as something that needs to be "inoculated" against or "prevented". The best way to stop racism is to treat racists like they're uncivilized douchebags - which they are.
I've tried saying stuff like this - that by specifically "celebrating" Black history, you're saying "these people are different". Glad to see someone important agrees with me.
I couldn't agree more, he is a badass.
Stop calling you a white man? a Black man?
What if I don't know the persons name. Its how we describe others. Its not racist in any way.
Thus, another reason why Morgan Freeman is awesome.
Bless you, sir.

Call him a person. If you need a description, describe his clothes: "Hey, dude with the Slayer t-shirt!", "Hey, chick with the green pants!". Or maybe something like this: "Hey, asshole!"
Or, if you're talking about narrative description, you could be more specific. "Black" isn't a very good adjective for skin color anyways - a Moroccan has a much different skin color than a Rwandan, probably a bigger difference than between an Irishman and a Chinaman.
I like this version better;

This is why I hate programs that help "races and ethnicities that aren't american programs"
they basically hand out money to other races to "help them out" when it's just racism in the other direction.
Dat voice :iia:
:golfclap:
I would
SHIT
MY
PANTS
if Morgan Freeman got that pissed off at me.
Giant meteor from out of nowhere.
Instead of saying black man/woman we should be saying man/woman.
Makes sense and gets rid of the stupid racism conundrum.
There will always be racism, regardless of who it is. The Japanese hate Americans, Americans have a problem with Muslims because of the war, and the UK (Don't fucking deny it you cowards) has a lot of racism (more than the USA) towards blacks, people need to just learn to deal with each other and get over their racial pride.

"Don't deny it you cowards".
What? Do you live in the UK? Where did that come from?

Stop talking about it.
