fixed for you op
thanks man!
Soon feminists will demand that women in games should have godmode on
Why are they trying so hard to make this out to be a morality thing? The entire point of CoD is to kill everything and they acknowledge that but now that's its a woman you're killing, who you'll see for a second, its disturbing?
Iunno. Maybe it does have something to do with all the years of big men being slaughtered by the truck load and seeing a woman thrown into the mix trips people up.
You've got to be kidding me, this video is stupid at hell.
Why are they making such a big deal out of this? Is it really that big of a deal to have female characters in a multiplayer shooter?

soon MRA's will flip their shit for no reason and act like feminists are inherently petty and retarded
I was stabbed by a man in Call of Duty that's practically rape
it's only an issue if you make it an issue and hell, we've all shot and stabbed Thousands of women in games before Fallout 1 fallout 2 fallout 3 fallout nv The Elder scrolls morrowind TES oblivion TES SKYRIM dues ex World of warcraft GTA vice city GTA SAN AN GTA 4 GTA V gee what else is there..
soon MRA's will flip their shit for no reason and act like feminists are inherently petty and retarded
they've already done that though
Actually, this makes me feel good because now there's equal opportunity for the female gender.
i'm fucking dying ahaha
Wow the singular woman basically finished the whole "discussion" literally a minute into it and they just shoot it down and go "BUT HOW DOES IT MAKE YOU FEEL, DOES IT NOT RUSTLE YOUR OVARIES"
IGN stop trying to sensationalize everything, you're making yourself look dumber than usual here
I think none of them are hardcore gamers because having female characters in MP games was normal in old games like Unreal Tournament series.
But geesh those guys in that video are.... *sigh*
Am I supposed to feel bad for thrusting a 5 inch blade into a woman, in a video game?
Cause I really don't see how it will affect anything
If people get butthurt, make everyone a female in the game, so then you're just backstabbing each other
Like girls normally do.
stupid video. we've been killing women in video games forever noone cared then noone will care now (well maybe some idiots will)

They would probably use the argument they used against the other perfectly suitable examples of women dying in video games, "but the graphics wernt good and they looked cartoony and not real like in CoD". Which still doesn't make sense because its still a woman and no amount of stylization or crummy textures will take that away.
is the point of this video going over the heads of everyone (it is a debate video, there isnt a clear conclusion, have any of you even watched it?)
is the point of this video going over the heads of everyone (it is a debate video, there isnt a clear conclusion, have any of you even watched it?)
Yes, and we are all giving our opinions about it. What do you want us to do? Nod our heads and go "yup that sure was a debate"?
is the point of this video going over the heads of everyone (it is a debate video, there isnt a clear conclusion, have any of you even watched it?)
There shouldn't even be a 'debate,' really. Female characters have been killed alongside male characters in video games for at LEAST 15 years (Perfect Dark & Unreal Tournament, lookin' at you). It's staggering that this even needs to be brought up in this day and age.
Only men pigs should be stabbed to death in videogames, death to all men.
how did shooting children in fallout 1 make you feel?

BUT BUT BUT MODERN SHOOTER
Not that old shit, this is the modern era.
If there are no women they're misrepresented, if• they are it's wrong and jarring.
What's with CoD and attracting stupidity?
they've already done that though
well technically they're always doing it but that's beside the point

I find it more interesting that Call of Duty gets recognized for all these "game-changing additions" that other series have been doing for years.
Female MP characters? Been done since the 90s
Destructible environments? See Battlefield: Bad Company
Leaning, Sliding, and Mantling: See Call of Duty 1, Crysis, Battlefield 3 (probably older examples as well)
Not a single one of those is innovative, yet they're being heralded. Baffles me.

Context. I have no idea who you are talking about heralding anything but within the context of CoD all of these are new additions, with the latter two definitely being game changing in the most literal sense.
As for female soldiers in a shooter most games don't have it, and particularly in a more "realistic" setting it's hard to find.
how did shooting children in fallout 1 make you feel?
Or better yet, how did having the ability to enslave children in Fallout 3 make you feel?

At least it's the shitty game they are attacking.
