Thanks OP. I've been designing a missile and had no trouble up until the guidance system. This really clears it up.

You should say anyone who has common sense.
Besides, one cannot deduce a position by substracting the knowledge of where they are not with all space. That is impossible as you can not just know where you are not unless you know where you are. If you know where you are then you don't need to substract anything.
In other words: This video is bullshit.
