How in the love of shit do they fly at night?
They have a shitload of gauges and screens in the cockpit to help them fly at night.

Very, very carefully.

Besides, most of the flight nowadays is auto pilot.
Feel like im going to hear that song everywhere now since that wingsuit video
I'm surprised at how much he moves the stick to make such small maneuvers.
Airline pilots are not paid enough for what they do.
I loved every second of that video.
It's cool how casual they are when landing a huge airplane with 100+ people on board. Watching the video felt like I was watching some video game player.
And I still can't fly a jet in BF3 for longer than 3 minutes.
Pretty chill song.

What is the artist/song name?

Don't worry, BF3 jets are anything but realistic. Try FSX, you'll learn how to land and airliner in a few weeks :v:

Yeah, real jets are even harder to fly.

You've flown one?
Or for an even greater challenge land a figher jet in a fighter sim.

but landing in flight simulators is a piece of cake
What is the artist/song name?
awolnation : sail
Oh man flying seems much scarier looking forwards

I've flown a single engine Cessna 172 and it is not comparable to a flight simulator. Sure, a few things helped, but in the end it's like learning how to drive by playing Forza with all assists off.
That's fucking awesome.

He mentions in the comments that he isn't used to fly by wire systems.

I got to use a full motion simulator for 30 minutes that was an A330 and one of the things they made me do was land it at night. Surprisingly its not that much more difficult as you would think with those large types of aircraft since you're always flying with your instruments anyway, and the runway is just as visible if not more at night with all the lights.
I have a lot of respect for aircraft pilots, I think I would have many apprehension before every flight.

Time to go turn in my license...
If my eyesight had been perfect I'd really like to become a pilot.
fuck am I tired of this song being used in every gopro video.
Be a pilot for the military and have this as a retiring job, would be worth it.
I was not expecting to see a tiny joystick for such a plane.
You've flown one?
If flying a jet in real life is easier than flying one in battlefield 3 then we wouldn't even have to train pilots.
Seriously, you don't need to have flown a jet to know that.
