That is the ACTUAL current state of youtube. Obviously there are examples where that's not entirely the case, but there are tons of people with false strikes on their channel and no way to defend against it. Strikes are even being used to bully critics. this isn't even touching on the topic either. There's also networks that literally like to prey on naive youtubers to totally screw them over, like Machinima. And then people who genuinely are abusive like keemstar or prank invasion never get dealt with, but people who are legitimately innocent just get totally fucked over. The biggest reason this frustrates the hell out of me personally, is that there are so many great people I love watching on youtube. But I can't find them anywhere else. There's no where else I can enjoy grumps, or h3h3, or thebackyardscientist, or joergsprave, or thac tv, or vsauce, or gradeaundera, or GMM, or literally thousands of other channels. Some probably do use other sites, but there's no where else to go. IHateEverything has personally tried and failed to find an alternative site to upload. I'm sure tons. The only hope I, as well as other views have for shit like this to stop, is youtube either fixing their crap, or a huge competitor pops up (hahaha yeah ok) and beats them down. That or I, and billions of others, just quit watching youtube videos out of no where.
Holy shit the background of this video fits so well of this page's background, it's so fucking cool looking. Even if it is plain white (?). It just looks so aesthetically pleasing.
Is it just me or is the YouTube DMCA notice starting to become a more heated debate more and more to the point that you - tube might do something about it
Is it just me or is the YouTube DMCA notice starting to become a more heated debate more and more to the point that you - tube might do something about it
A large majority aren't caught up in this type of stuff, think of how many people watch pewdiepie and other massive youtubers that don't deal with this. These are the type of people that aren't very tech literate, they subscribe to a few youtubers, dont have adblock and just deal with it, hell, some won't even have an account, or may only have one due to age restrictions. I don't think there is a large enough demographic for youtube to care. They are still making shit tons from the massive youtubers and the casual youtuber viewers who arent caught up in this stuff. This will only definitely be resolved when pewdiepie or someone major gets involved.
Is it just me or is the YouTube DMCA notice starting to become a more heated debate more and more to the point that you - tube might do something about it
But there is no 'debate' to it There is no two sides, from what i've seen pretty much everyone thinks its shit and needs to be changed
But there is no 'debate' to it There is no two sides, from what i've seen pretty much everyone thinks its shit and needs to be changed
The only other side of the argument are the people who actively abuse it for personal gain
Is it just me or is the YouTube DMCA notice starting to become a more heated debate more and more to the point that you - tube might do something about it
I don't remember anyone arguing for it.
