The only thing I disagree with this video is how the title is past tense, since they're still actively working on/ruining their games.
Eh, I dunno man, unless EA makes some BIG fucking changes with the next Star Wars game, I don't think they'll be holding on to the rights much longer.

They signed a 10 year contract with the Mouse around when the Battlefield reboot came out, so they have plenty of time unless they get bought out.
This would explain respawns second project.
Still not over being upset at EA having an exclusive license to Star Wars. There's so many great games that could be made that EA would never touch like a new X-Wing or TIE Fighter.

Not according to the reports that came out when the Lootbox scandal peaked. In the run up to them being removed, there was talk that Disney was in contact with EA and threats of revoking their contract.
i know i'm dreaming, but how awesome would it be if starwars battlefront 3 actually ended up coming out? land to space battles sound's fucking incredible alongside all the content they would have put into the game, and let's not forget galactic conquest! I would play that game for hours if it existed.

You can bet your ass Disney have a clause that says "We can revoke the license if we deem you to have caused harm to the brand" in there. If there's one lesson I've known since childhood it's this "Don't fuck with the mouse."

They're already dead. Enjoy Titanfall 2 while you can.
