I'm unable to watch this can someone post his ten?
Here ya go [sp]10. Mad Max 9. Sunless Sea 8. Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide 7. Renowned Explorers 6. Rainbow Six: Seige 5. Transformers: Devastation 4. Lovers in a Dangerous Space Time 3. Dirty Bomb 2. Duck Game Then there's actually a tie: 1. Undertale (game that released in 2015) 1. Overwatch (game that he played in 2015)[/sp]
Too slow. Interesting list. Sad to not see MGSV but these are his picks after all.
I'm unable to watch this can someone post his ten?
:snip: Everyone had the same idea.
I can't take him seriously anymore if he's seriously implying Dirty Bomb was the third best game of the year. It's a CoD clone with F2P moneygrubbing mechanics.
I can't take him seriously anymore if he's seriously implying Dirty Bomb was the third best game of the year. Look the gunplay/gameplay is actually fairly decent but at the end of the day there are direct Pay-To-Win mechanics tied to the game in terms of buying class cards in higher quality that has more perks. So disagree and dumb all you want but it's true.

He thinks that Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons is the best game he's ever played and I think it's a piece of worthless garbage with terrible controls and an awful story that gets by on average visuals alone. It doesn't mean I'm going to ignore him when he says a game is broken or when he shows off games I wouldn't have considered.

Cards that can only be purchased are variants of the same cards that can be earned, but with unique skins. Loadout cards of Silver, Gold, and Cobalt rank (only obtainable from purchased packs) have the same perks and weapons as loadout cards in the Bronze rank (the highest rank that can be obtained with in-game currency). The difference is that the weapons and merc in the silver/gold/cobalt loadouts have a skin matching the rank. The only thing behind the paywall is the cosmetic difference. So no. It's not true.
Too slow. Interesting list. Sad to not see MGSV but these are his picks after all.
MGSV, FO4 and Witcher 3 were too lengthy for him to properly play this year. "Too many games, not enough time" as he said himself.
i don't get the consistent praise for undertale it was really boring and unfunny to me, and yeah i got that it was supposed to be super meta and clever but it really wasn't. it played like a bad rpg game from the 90s and the storyline was pretty shit, how it recognized any possible choice you could have made is pretty cool but it has no saving grace besides that. literally every critic praises it as if it's the pinnacle of pc gaming while it's average at best, and i get that it's unique and all, but that alone doesn't make the game good by any measure

Nothing wrong with that of course, it's not a game for everyone. No game is, really.
it's ok to not like a thing, just don't be a dweeb about it
He wasn't being a dweeb.
it's ok to not like a thing, just don't be a dweeb about it
I would give similar advice to Undertale fans.
He wasn't being a dweeb.
I don't think he's saying he was. Dweeb.
I can't take him seriously anymore if he's seriously implying Dirty Bomb was the third best game of the year. It's a CoD clone with F2P moneygrubbing mechanics.
No?? The only thing you could consider "moneygrubbing" about the game is the fact you have to buy characters with either real money or in-game money but that is literally no different than tons of other free to play games. It all depends on how fair the business model is when it comes to providing the in-game currency, and Dirty Bomb is super generous with it. Also I didn't know CoD multiplayer had classes with unique abilities. If anything Dirty Bomb is more like Overwatch than CoD. Also I love what TB did with the ending of the video. It was really cool, though Undertale was predictable as hell.
Also I didn't know CoD multiplayer had classes with unique abilities. If anything Dirty Bomb is more like Overwatch than CoD.
Technically Black Ops 3 has "Specialists" with special abilities to an extent, but I still feel that Dirty Bomb is closer to Brink than to Blops 3 multiplayer. And I kinda enjoyed Brink for what it was, despite some of the problems it had.
it's ok to not like a thing, just don't be a dweeb about it
That "it's okay to not like thing, but don't be a dick about it :)" thing is shit. "being a dick" is pretty subjective.
That "it's okay to not like thing, but don't be a dick about it :)" meme is shit.
Its a meme now? Know what is a meme? Calling every fucking thing a meme.

It's a quirky game with interesting characters that played like a charming RPG (think Earthbound), but with little quirks in the gameplay that can only be done because its a modern game. The music is varied but fitting, and the story was predictable to a point, but still very enjoyable. Etc, etc. People love it, people are eh about it. Obviously TB and myself are of those who love it. Undertale totally has more hype than its worth. Every thing that reaches Undertale's hype has more than its worth. No game is worth its hype, not even Half-Life, Ocarina of Time, or whatever you may think they best video game is. But games reach that hype for good reasons. They deserve the praise they've got for doing enough things right.
MGSV, FO4 and Witcher 3 were too lengthy for him to properly play this year. "Too many games, not enough time" as he said himself.
Given what he said about MGSV elsewhere, i think it's safe to say that TB did play the game a fair bit and had fun with it gameplay wise, but not as much fun as he did with other games that came out this year. Witch 3 and FO4 both come out after he had some rather shit news though so he likely has not played much of those.
No Rocket League????
No Rocket League????
TB hates sports games and Rocket League is no exception to that. I agree with him on that, Rocket League is just a sports game at the end of the day and thus I find it getting pretty repetitive quickly.

Glad to see R6 on the list. Took me by surprise how good it turned out.

I think Undertale is kind of one of those things that it's easy to go into wanting to not like it because it's popular and some of the people that like it won't shut up about it and you get sick of hearing about it. I'm guilty of this pretty often myself. Not that I'm trying to dismiss your criticisms or imply that the only reason that anyone could possibly not like Undertale is if they didn't give it a fair chance, and that you actually like it and just don't know it yet, or some stupid thing like that. I just know that it's a trap I fall into more often than I'd like to admit. Also as previously mentioned, the enjoyment you get out of the game is almost entirely dependent on whether or not the humor and the characters resonate with you. If you don't feel attached to the characters then the game obviously won't have an impact on you.
