Arguably one of the funniest segments they have done
Are those cars broken or are they really that shitty?
Oh god they crashed an SW20. Those monsters

They drive terrible on purpose in order to imitate your typical Peugeot driver, leaving them in first gear and basically just drive into everything.
Even though they greatly exaggerate for comedic effect, that's actually how modern Peugeot owners in general are.
Along with Fiat.
And I can say that from a personal experience of fixing Peugeot's and Fiat's
[sp]oh god send help...[/sp]
Where i live, a lot of people drive like Top Gear's exaggerations of Peugeot drivers. Last Month my friend witnessed a motorist slowly dive into a ditch going 10 mph.
Guy wasn't even on his phone either.
snipped
ah, the hypocricy of facepunch strikes again
"peugeot drivers r stupid" - "hahahahaha good one!"
"women usually drive those cars" - "??????????????????????? dumb"
i know caring about ratings is stupid but god DAMN does this kind of hypocritical shit make me mad

I don't know which you fix
but my dad's is closer and closer to bitting the dust.
A bit of rust here and there, paint coming off, engine light comes on all the damn time, squeaky metal noises EVERYWHERE, suspension that sounds like it hits the top of whatever its under, and now when you take it a bit faster, you can smell the fumes wherever you are.
Goddamn I hate that piece of shit.

Well, it is the 307 CC. What was already a poor road car made somehow for an even more disasterous WRC car.
One of the main factors being that the bright minds at Peugeot thought that having a five or six gears gearbox was seriously passé for a mid 2000s WRC car, so they went back to the 60s and only put a four gear gearbox in. Not only was it incredibly inefficient, it also was about as reliable as an average car in the 60s as a result. And that was just the tip of the iceberg about the disaster that the 307 CC WRC was. I'll give some more examples later if this thread is still up then.

As a Punto driver, it's not our faults, the cars literally have a daily stroke in different ways.

Yesterday a man was trying to park at a trailhead. After creeping around at less than a mile per hour, intently staring at the entrance, he decided to park his car in such a way that he would straddle the trailhead and would not be able to get out. Then he tried to leave the car for 10 minutes. It would probably be funny if I hadnt been nearly run down when it was parking.

It's clever camera angles, you never see the "passenger" side of the car prior to the door and fender being fucked. It was likely in an accident beforehand and they just staged the whole thing. It's still a shame considering hardtop/sunroof SW20's were produced considerably less than the T-Top counterpart. At least that's the case in the US.
Why does Britain have double roundabouts? How are they useful?
They left out the beginning with the painted on French mustaches and "tre terrible".
Also left out the very end where James crashes into the cottage like twice as hard as Clarkson did.

If you look other videos from their YT channel you see that in a lot of videos they cut off the start/end, well it does make you want to see the entire episode so that tactic is somewhat working

Don't look at the magic roundabout in Swindon!

That part of the scene, where they imitate the French, is IMO one of the funniest TG scenes of all time.
I still think the funniest moment on Top Gear was when they brought Johnny Vegas on the show to drive the Reasonably Priced Car. That dude is hilarious without even trying.
