I like how the system can let the user transition from sitting for using vehicles to getting up so you can actually walk or move around.

There's a similar system to this, I don't remember what it's called, but you needed some kind of special shoes to wear it.

These aren't fashion objects, IDK about you, but I don't play games on a catwalk.
Besides, you can't see yourself while wearing the rift, all it has to be is comfortable.
It's not like you are going to be walking around wearing one, everyone who sees you wearing it is probably gonna know what it is, and wont care what it look like.
No I don't think you understand. I don't give a shit about what other people would think if I was wearing one. What I'm saying is that despite it being a cool piece of tech, I think it looks terrible, which makes me not particularly want to use one.
The omni seems to be curved up around the sides allowing for a more natural run. This system looks to be a more flat and more resistant material than the omni.
