I remember watching this on TV. It was pretty intense.
That is terrible advice.
Climbing on it I mean.
Fuck man that's intense.
That was so intense
Every single second
Then the train came
FUCK that was close
... the camera man climbed up with him?
WAS THAT REAL? :byodood:
Where can I find myself some courage pills?
this has GOT to be at least a LITTLE bit staged
this has GOT to be at least a LITTLE bit staged
it's never staged
if the train was coming at me like that i'd of lay down in the corner of the tunnel, or stretched out across the tracks... also climbing that train bridge was pointless cause he could have walked up a bit and scaled the hill... but wheres the excitement in that?

That train made the same sound as the one in the OP. Hmm...
EDIT: What?
What the fuck, and I thought I'd only see that intense shit in movies. I was wrong.

Not every horn makes the same sound.
... the camera man climbed up with him?
It's one hardcore cameraman.
They should start a new series
Cameraman vs. Wild
This is why Less Stroud is better, one man one camera
Did he drink his piss?
Bear, you're fucking crazy sometimes
And yeah, the cameraman has to follow him everywhere he goes. Though he has a crew, the danger is always real.

Set up camera, take shot of you walking away, come back for the camera and then go back to walking.
Smart.
Why did he pop up with sunglasses between the clips?
Ok thats cool and ballsy and all but how exactly will that improve your chances of living?
Makes me sad that people actually believe in this. However, I adore to see people arguing about it.

I figure that Man vs Wild is more "information + entertainment" than anything else. If I wanted to watch something more authentic, I'd go with Survivorman.
Also, when he climbs up the chain, he's probably six feet off the ground. A railway bridge like that always meets a hill at some point.

His main goal is to escape, not to survive. However, he does demonstrate survival techniques along the way since the trek can't be completed in one day.
Remember seeing this on TV. Was extremely awesome.

Just because it takes him much longer doesn't make it better. I find survivorman boring.
Bear Grylls doesn't have shit on Ray Mears.
