It's been a long time since Sucker Punch developed a new ip. Looks promising. I'm curious how it's swordplay will turn out though, since close-range combat hasn't been a focus in any of their older games
Was that Benedict Wong? It better be Benedict Wong's voice that i just heard. Also that looks good, though some textures looked fucking horrid in this trailer.
I dig this, I love Sucker Punch and i can't wait to see gameplay of this.
Ah, interesting, the Mongol invasion of Japan. Neat time period as Japanese armor/swords hadn't developed into the more recognizable forms, not to mention that the Mongols were in full "Pillage, rape, burn, repeat" mode
That's one hell of a presentation. Makes me want to binge watch a bunch of samurai/ninja movies.
this reminds me of Ninja Gaiden just way more serious.
That black armor he's wearing at the end looks so similar to the set in Nioh I assumed this was some kind of sequel or dlc announcement.
Getting real Tenchu vibes from this.
Looks super neat.
I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for this.
I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for this.
Yeah it looks pretty damn cool
The question is, how much graphical quality from the trailer will be in the released game?
Getting real Tenchu vibes from this.
The description makes him out to be a Samurai learning the trade of "Ghosts", so the protagonist is probably going to be a mix of straight-up action and stealthy capability without going full ninja. Doubt we're gonna see doctors using martial arts and medical knowledge to twist people's necks 180 degrees though :v:
I was wondering what they were going to do! InFamous 2 really should've been the last in the series. Second Son wasn't nearly as good as 1 and 2.

I thought First Light was really good though as a small Standalone Expansion as her power was pretty unique.

Neon and Video are practically the same power, and you don't get Concrete until the end of the game.
This makes me wish I had a PS4.
I think the game looks interesting, but what I really need to know is if this take on history is going to have superhuman or supernatural elements core to the gameplay and story. I think it could be an awesome concept without them. Its hard to tell if some effects in the trailer are stylistic or not.
That "cyber" looking font makes me wonder if there's some futuristic stuff in this.
That "cyber" looking font makes me wonder if there's some futuristic stuff in this.
I hope not. the futuristic part of Assassins creed is what killed it for me tbh. I just want neat games about neat time periods to be set just in that period.
I'm surprised nobody's made a Samurai Jack joke yet. [sp] Long ago in a distant land...[/sp]

[editline]2nd November 2017[/editline] See, if they had named it xenon, we could've had a really cool flashy explosive power set because Xeno Tetroxide.
