Too soon.

It was done by a company that does these sort of stunts for a living.
jesus christ I would've shat out my intestines if I was that close to a fucking 200mph plane
When she first screamed I thought she was over reacting, then I saw how close it got and was like oh
Seems like that was a little closer than the pilot probably expected. :v:
Damn good flying skills to A: not munch the plane flying it less than a foot above the deck, and B: To not smear the camerawoman into the tarmac while flying past her at roughly the same distance.
Also, I love that sweet radial engine roar.
it appears that the biplane is trying to land but then it notices the people at the last moment, so he did a go around and clearly a very lucky time for the people on the ground.
as a pilot my self i wish bogans kept of runways.
Then you notice the top of your scalp is missing after you scream :v:
Just kidding but that was pretty amazing!

I love that sweet scream of cameraman.

Looks more like a small boxer engine, Isn't that what you usually find on modern small planes? Could be wrong.
that was definetly not a stunt, those idiots were fucking around on the runway and he had to avoid them at the last second

Why were they filming, then?
Why were they filming, then?
Stupid people film themselves doing stupid stunts on things like ATVs all the time (watch the first 5 seconds again). These fuckers just decided that an active runway was the perfect place.
What about the smoke trail from the plane? Do they keep that on when they try and land?
that was definetly not a stunt, those idiots were fucking around on the runway and he had to avoid them at the last second
Do you reckon? Why would he cut on the inside and not accumulate any height? In my opinion, he lined up an approach along side of them on purpose.
Looks more like a small boxer engine, Isn't that what you usually find on modern small planes? Could be wrong.
Not on biplanes. Small four and six cylinder boxers are, indeed, common powerplants on monoplane Cessnas and Pipers, but this aircraft was a biplane. It most likely had a 7 cylinder, or perhaps a small 9 cylinder, radial engine in it. The exhaust note bears this out, radials make a very distinctive noise that boxers do not and this airplane was making that noise.
I could be wrong though, cell phone videos do tend to distort sound after all, and some biplanes do in fact use boxers. A clean shot of the nose will tell, radial equipped planes always have round noses for cooling purposes while boxer-equipped ones have more aerodynamic pointed ones.

Not normally. The smoke system would only be on during landing if it had malfunctioned.
