I just needed to see how Ivy's breasts have evolved over the years.
Bane what are you doing in soul caliber? This is a videogame, you are a batman villain, you don't even fit!
It looks like all the characters that are returning from the previous games have the same animations and stuff.
I hate to say it but this is an insta-buy for me
and i REALLY HATE TO SAY IT

also this
kind of lazy but eh whatever
"Patroklos"?
so he just takes it up the ass by Achilles between fights

that is common with fighting games. they just add extra features and such. if you swapped all the characters out, fans would be pissed.
I came to this thread expecting a lot more cleavage.

Namco's been using the exact same rigs for all the characters and recycling animations since the original Soul Blade. It's pretty much standard practice forthe series. Just watch this-they all are still using the exact same animations from all the way back in 1995, they've just sped up the animation in recent times.

Also it's kinda interesting to see they've actually ADDED more clothes to the female characters this time around.
Love these games mainly for the boob physics.
I see no lizard-man.
Oh god I hope he's there. He's the best character.

That's not Bane.

Agreed.
I think the characters are generic and annoying as hell
Seriously could you think of two more mind-numbingly boring main characters
Some generic JRPG dude with all of the attitude and self importance but none of the substance (He is justice!!!)
Some generic skimpy JRPG chick who says sorry every time she hits someone and is the MC's sister but is still probably going to be his love interest because this is how things work

Yes. Don't tempt me. I have an uncreative writing degree and I'm not afraid to use it!
It's definitely Soul Calibur.

It even says in the video's title. How do you mess that up.
Afro samurai time.
Yuri Lowenthal-voiced, hot-blooded hero (who seems to be an expy of Cassandra); check. Shy, apologetic heroine who sounds like every other (and an expy of Sophitia); check. Namco got those hammered down it seems. Now, further down the checklist...
Radical returning character redesigns to the point that half of them don't look like them anymore (if that's Taki, she really knows how to make balloon boobs go down in size), check. Recycled animations and movesets- well, it's not like they're bad at all, but when the only 'new' animation set is a person with a crystal ball... And finally, what looks like essentially the exact same appearance and style as SCIV; check (hell, even SC2 and SC3 had a bit of difference between eachother visually). What's left, what's left.. Ah yes: women with a lack of clothin- oh wait. WHAT THE HELL?! Even bloody Ivy has more clothes this time around, even with a lack of pants!
Eh. In any case, I don't think Namco is completely putting their effort into this; the two 'main heroes' look and sound just like Custom Characters with Cassandra's and Sophitia's movesets. As long as we don't end up with a feature-starved game again, though, i'll probably buy it like the series fan I am.
When it comes to generic characters, FPS's are just as guilty. Generic soldiers, generic bald bulky dudes, etc.
Also to above: That's not Taki, it's her Desciple, Natsu. Xianguah is also being replaced by her daughter.
Poor Maxi, looks like he hasn't changed at all. Astaroth looks nothing like his old styles.

Kilik still better be in this game.
What the fuck is this?
The girls have clothes.
never played soul caliber. and by the looks of it i'd rather not.
Taki's boob physics the only reason I played SC2.
That's not Bane.

GENIUS OF THE YEAR! HOLY SHIT YOU'RE RIGHT!
looks pretty good I think I'll buy it
Kilik and link are the only characters I ever cared to play. Don't know if I will bother with this game since I was disappointed with Soulcalibur IV.
They should put in more characters from other lores. Mayby i have, i dont know.
What i mean they should put in for exemple warcraft charcters, like lich king or thrall. That have been awesome!
Yay voldo's still in it! I rather liked voldo's ability to counter attacks. Properly used, you can hit someone once then spend the whole battle slithering about their ankles while laughing.
Hi, I'm Pyrrha, I'm going to drive this blade through your torso...i'm sorry.
I AM JUSTICE
