I remember I also felt like that when I moved from the PS2 version to the PC version. The bluriness kind of hid the imperfections
All you had to do was go to heaven CJ....

Vice City and III were even worse, even character models were blocky

You're free now, CJ. You're finally free.
I remember the Xbox version for GTA III, Vice City and San Andreas looked even better then the PC versions.

They did, for some reason.
They used higher-resolution textures, and improved 3D-models

Only minus from the consoles is that they run on lower resolution/framerate.
There are a few esthetical differences with blooming and what not. Vice City on consoles also have a different character turn for Tommy its not stuck to the camera like in the PC version.
But still I will always prefer the PC for the easy on the get go controls I remember when my cousin brought san andreas with his ps2 god dammit console peasant race all right. It was a pain to control.
And the vibration function why might as well use the controller as a dildo.
Later his ps2 sadly bit off the dust and he brought the ps3, This time around i finally figured it out with dualshock 3 and went through Uncharted 1 sometimes its really good and other times when you're zooming in having to point at something is a pain in the ass. Bottom line is I hate those controllers with crap ton of buttons the left/right triggers being excessive. I loved the NES but the new stuff is just ridiculous. I don't even wanna see how the wii mote and the nunchUck works.
The mouse and the keyboard are heaven especially when emulating and yes I played through sm64 and smg1/2 and its probably much easier than using the real n64 controller or the wii mote mainly because you can config every damn button.
Alright blog is over you can move on.
I honestly miss the Playstation 2.
Had a fuck ton of exclusive games that still hold their own against some games being released today.
What do you mean, "alternate" ?
