Polaris ruins PBG's Hardcore Format: Diablo III: Reaper of Souls Hardcore: Team 1 - General

Why is there so much skipping around? I can't tell what they're doing anymore. Also they got rid of the sound cue that plays when they switch who's footage is being used. Also there's no camera icon to tell who the focus is on. The red flash when someone's in danger is gone too... I have no fucking idea what's happening at all. Why would they get rid of all that stuff?

It's still no Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction, but it's getting there. Many of the uniques are complete gamechangers. I still haven't bought the expansion yet, though.

After an hour of gameplay I got 5 legendaries, and although some weren't that good they were still twice as better than the loot that dropped from the beginning of the game.

Probably would've gone into the third had we not come off break. The gameplay is okay, but what suffered the most was the story. it wasn't worth it when it first came out, but I'm sure the price has dropped since then.

So is Diablo 3 actually a fun game or is it fun in the sense of its fun if you grind it constantly and find a legendary.

Diablo 3 is a whole lot better now that they've put in adventure mode and loot 2.0

Diablo 3 is actually fun. The grinding aspect is there but it feels meaningful, I'm not bored while farming for items and XP. The new expansion added so much replay-ability and changed how the difficulty worked, so its all together a little harder. Legendary drops often come at exactly when you would feel like you should get one; So your always looking and waiting and want to keep going. I didn't play before 2.0, but it always feels fresh and unlike any other RPG. just my two cents.

Eh, I like team 1's composition more. Criken, Cox and Crendor are awesome- can't say I know PBG that well.
