10 minutes or less, its 12!
The sins stop around 10 minutes in, the rest is jokes.
I guess I can agree with half of the sins.
it's a movie
I dont get how people can love the character Elsa, she was a dick the entire movie.
I dont get how people can love the character Elsa, she was a dick the entire movie.
they like Elsa because they want to sex her
Why is this movie still relevant?
Why is this movie still relevant?
Because it, for some reason, gained a huge cult following.
it's a movie
Yeah and CinemaSins is a channel that makes tongue-in-cheek deconstructions of movies.
it's a movie
Okay everyone, time to go home, it's a movie so we can't say shit.
Most of these felt like nitpicking, but I loved the last couple of minutes :v:
I dont get how people can love the character Elsa, she was a dick the entire movie.
Because misanthropic, shut-in, hyper-introvert, antisocial Tumblr sociopaths have a fictional character to relate with.
Which is funny because the movie portrays her behaviour as highly toxic and self-destructive (the movie ends with her coming back to Arendelle, being accepted by the people there and she can live there and use her ice powers in peace), and Let it Go is just Elsa trying to tell herself everything's ok when in reality she's just avoiding her problems and shutting herself in her own world; while damaging her loved ones in the process.
She's all "IM ALONE AN FREE!1!!" and ~strong~ and ~*independent*~, but in reality she's just really scared of the world that surrounds her and locks herself on her castle to "avoid causing Anna any harm", which she does later anyway because she refuses to accept advice from others and is too self-absorbed in her own distorted reality.
Sounds familiar?
I just grew so tired of this movie because it got plastered all of the internet so much, and I haven't even seen the damn thing.
One thing that bothers me about Cinemasins is that a lot of the "sins" are just jokes the announcer makes, but the sin counter goes up anyways.
What did bug the shit out of me is when the ship suddenly rose out of the water when Elsa unfroze the ice, so they'd have something to be standing on. How the fuck did the ship get under there? Was it pulling an Assassin's Creed 4 when Elsa froze everything? And why wasn't it full of water?
I haven't seen this movie and I really wanted to, but it's been all over the internet I feel like I know the whole movie now anyways.
this movie is really generic and i cant stand how all the female characters look the same.
i dont see how this movie got so popular, but im gonna guess it was cos of the ''let it go'' pop-song. eugh
I liked Frozen more than Tangled, but that's as high as I'd put it.
I can't watch these videos because that goddamn dinging noise is infuriating
I dont get how people can love the character Elsa, she was a dick the entire movie.
Because she was the only character that had any kind of meaningful conflict and room to show growth in her character. Anna hardly did anything important or meaningful during the entire movie, other than save Elsa at the very end.
it's a movie
It's a comedy video.
I liked Frozen more than Tangled, but that's as high as I'd put it.
I prefer Tangled since I feel that the male character and situations he was put in were a lot more comical and funny compared to Frozen. Except the shop scene in Frozen, that was great.
and Rapunzel is way better waifu material
Rapunzel is taken, Elsa is not. This makes Elsa better waifu material.

I don't care how (rightfully) sick people are of hearing it, "Let it Go" is still a fucking wonderfully composed song.
That Let it go/Firework part was amazing.

It really isn't that great of a song...

Me neither. Is saw the first 20 minutes and noped the fuck out

Did you nope out of literally every Disney movie you have ever seen? Because this one follows the Disney Princess movie theme pretty closely, what did you expect?
all of the sins are just horribly nitpicky or jokes. the sin counter actually goes up for fairy tale cliches... it's a fairy tale movie, i don't think a single person in their right mind would watch this kind of movie and find themselves surprised by the fact that a cliche or two representative of the movie's genre shows up in it.
wow, in a disney fairy tale movie whose intended audience is primarily children, one of the protagonists doesn't have a few hundred guards surrounding her as she dances around her town, how shocking. disney would definitely do better to reinforce idea of protecting the protagonist from threat of assassination or kidnapping to their child viewers
I love people who take CinemaSins seriously. It'd be like taking Dunkey seriously.
I love people who take CinemaSins seriously. It'd be like taking Dunkey seriously.
why is strange that people would take cinemasins seriously? i've seen a few videos that actually do cite many legitimate complains and shortsighted mistakes that show that either those responsible for producing the film utilize very extensive creative license, or just didn't care enough to iron out minor flaws
on the other hand, some videos, like this one, are unnecessarily nitpicky and a lot of the sins are bad jokes. which raises the question, why even produce videos meant to be humorous under the guise of criticism if the critiques are bad and the jokes aren't funny? what is the purpose of the videos at that point?
