Definitely a fan, really excited for the new album
It sounds kinda similar to Hearts of Iron, off their previous album.
Nonetheless, Its pretty great.
The chorus makes me expect unicorns battling Wehrmacht.
Sabaton are great to see live!
Musical video not accurate for WW1 1/10.

yeah, they are showing Russian troops from 1939-ish, who made the video? I thought Sabaton were historic buffs
Sabaton is getting really boring and formulaic.

Nuclear blast takes the art they have lying around related to the album and makes lyric videos for their bands' releases.
Sabaton is a guilty pleasure of mine despite some of their songs having downright awful lyrics
I'm really hoping this is the worst song on the album because it's the wekest Sabaton song I've ever heard. But the last album as a whole was pretty weak so I don't have much hope for this one.
All of their stuff sounds the same to me, it's certainly a guilty pleasure.
I wish they'd do songs about the Pacific War since it seems not as much remembered or discussed as that in Europe.
Those gig pictures in the video were really out of place, the chorus was epic as always.

Metalizer has their weakest songs.
Art of War has their strongest.
Super guilty pleasure, but their live show is one of the best I seen.

When you have songs like 40:1 and Ghost Division on one album, everything else just seems lesser.
Art of war seems to be the their peak honestly. Heroes was a great album but Carlous rex was meh and Heroes had some pretty boring stuff on it. I imagine there will be some good stuff on the new album but also some pretty awful stuff too. Sabaton has always been like that though.
I consider Carolus Rex to be pretty great, if not just creatively it was a different thing for them to write about - plus the Swedish version of the album is godlike.
Heroes was overall pretty good, save for Smoking Snakes and Ballad of Bull tbh. There wasn't enough non piano slower songs ala Cliffs of Gallipoli or Price of a Mile to break the album up, it was a fairly fast paced album.
Though Art of War is definitely their best by far, I never get tired of listening to that album.
Eh. It's an alright song apart from pretty much rehashing Hearts of Iron for a third of the song.
Sabaton is sort of settling in to the point where they're just going to keep things the same as they have been and play it safe, since they're probably one of the most established modern power metal band out there. They don't really need to innovate, they can coast on their reputation at this point. Not sure I like that, considering seeing them live was probably one of the high points of my life. :v:

Every album has had a few REALLY GREAT songs and a few meh ones. Coat of Arms has Midway, Aces in Exile and White Death, but also The Final Solution, which bores me to tears. Carolus Rex has motherfucking Poltava, Gott Mit Uns but also 1648, which just...eh. Heroes? Far From the Fame, Smoking Snakes and Night Witches but sadly also The Ballad of Bull, a song that showcases exactly what Joakim's voice wasn't made for.
They're kind of uneven within all their releases but if The Last Stand continues this trend, I'll still like it, solely because the good songs more than outshine the lesser ones.
