That was pretty spooky.
We need a spooky rating on halloween.
2spoky
I got goosebumps, that was really freaky.
I stopped watching it when I realized it wasn't going to be funny but scary.
PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 5
MUSIC BY RANDY NEWMAN
I found that spooky until near the end with the skull guy.
Hmm. I didn't know a brick could fit through my anus.
I think I just shit a brick.
I made this comment about half way through. This shit was cheesy as fuck at the end.
this doesn't really work if you've already been on the ride
Disneyland: Revenge of the Third Wheel Brother.
Not altered in anyway? The ghost was added in...
that was 2 spooky
no but that was fucking retarded and the guy's acting was HORRIBLE
Whew, i was expecting spaghetti overload.
Thats relief
Not even remotely scary.
As a big horror fan, that didn't scare me at all.
Am I the only one?

ALRIGHTY THEN
I've been on the Haunted Mansion like 25 times so I guess it doesn't phase me to hear a girl screaming (a pretty regular occurrence).

There are credits at the end of the video, by your response I'm going to guess you didn't watch all of it.
What I'm more impressed by is that they didn't have the help of Disney employees.
Holy fuck that was well made.
First bit looked like it was the trailer to a new horror movie.
transition from "everythings okay" to "oh no we're dying" is far too fucking sudden
It's eh. Not really spooky, plus the whole proposing thing was pretty unnecessary. Also that bit at the beginning wasn't needed either. Not to mention that it's hopping on the "found footage" bandwagon.
Wasn't exactly scary but it was rather interesting to watch.
To be honest, This is an example of how not to do scary. Everything was telling you to be scared or making the camera focus do the work instead of your mind. Your imagination and instinct are what make you scared and they should do the work with a bit of guidance from the film. Not going "OH SHIT ITS A GHOST!!" (point camera at kids ghost) "BE SCARED, I MEAN ITS A GHOST, PLEASE BE SCARED!" It's really annoying to be honest. And the acting wasn't fantastic, But that wasn't the problem
Good examples of scary are the first 40 minutes of Alien. Nothing is shown, It's just the sense of claustrophobia and the way the camera picks out shadows and lets your imagination run wild. Hell even when the alien is out of the bag, you don't see it. But your mind sees pipes, and hunks of metal that "could" be it, so your always on edge.
I know this was done on a low budget and it's a decently filmed short but it's not scary.
I know I'm going to be hounded for this, But the first paranormal activity did scary well for the first 30 minutes. Not showing you too much or getting the camera to do the looking for you. It meant I was always looking to the edge of the frame for things, paranoid that there would be something there. My imagination did the work.
End of rant.
Not creepy, but well made.
This requires a friend:
1) Set the movie to 8:30 and mute it
2) Play http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6x7oJxkZHxg or http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cR2XilcGYOo at max volume
3) Pick up your monitor and shake it violently
4) Have your friend get a flashlight, point it at the screen and strobe it.

What did the skull guy say at the end? I can't make it out to save my life.

Also this is really making me want to go on that ride again. So sad it's on the other side of the country...
more of a parkinsons awareness video than a scary one
More intriguing than scary.
the one thing i couldn't figure out how they did was the empty leota scene
i guessed the doombuggy shots were shot on a prop because of the ~superblurpan~
the camera at the end was probably abusing the wheelchair thing to get the buggies to stop
Something about her face imposed on the bucket(?) at the end was hilarious to me.
