I haven't heard of him doing more of these, but he wrote/illustrated the "The Far Side" comics.
I've got every single compilation book ever. From "Far Side Galleries 1-5" to "The Pre-History of the Far Side" and the two weird ones he did that are like "Madame French's Evil Chickens"

There were two mini-movie things made for TV called Tales from the Far Side I & II.
